Daniel's POV/ well now i'm going to have TWO beautiful girls in my life. she's already my world and i can't wait until i get to meet her🥺 all we've talked about since we got back home from the reveal was having a girl. i was packing for tour and everything we would say reminded us of it. i cant wait to become a dad of a baby girl i'm so ready for it yet so not ready for fatherhood. it's going to be tricky but we'll pull through, ik we will. Em is the strongest girl ik.
other than this exciting news, i have to leave tmrrw... it puts me in the dumps but Emelyn is independent and can fend for herself. i just want to be there for her like i'm supposed to be but this is my life. this is my job.
Emelyn's POV/ i sat there as i watched the love of my life pack his bags for a 5 month long tour... it's like a military wife watching their husband pack their bags for deployment although they don't know if they'll be coming home or not. it's the hardest thing a women has to do, especially when she's carrying his child. ik he'll be back, of course, but it's still a long time without him. i felt a tear drop as Daniel zipped his bag up and i accidentally sniffled a little. he looked at me and came over to give me a huge hug.
"oh baby don't cry, i love you so so much and everything's going to be ok. i'll come home in a couple months and we're going to get everything ready for this baby. i'll miss you"
he grabbed my chin and lifted it up and smiled "you're so gorgeous" i landed my lips on his and pulled him onto me. we made out for like 5 minutes and then i finally let go bc... "omg she just moved" he got so excited. a smile wiped across his face and he instantly got down to my belly and felt her.
"SHE KICKED!" he said
i can see the love he has for her in his eyes and it's so indescribable. it wows me. he's going to be an awesome dad.
he leaned into me and kissed me so many times. in between kisses i said "we" *kiss* "need" *kiss* "to" *kiss* "go" *kiss* "to" *kiss* "bed" *kiss*
he eventually stopped and looked at me dead in the eyes. "i'm so in love with you... i love you so much baby. sleep tight don't let the bed bugs bite"
"i love you more"
Daniel tucked me under the covers and we drifted off to sleep...
*4:30 the next morning*
[alarm clock sounding] eer eer eer eer eer
Daniel's POV/ i reached over and slapped the alarm clock. i had to be gone by 5 but i sadly had to get Em up bc she has to bring me to the airport. i decided to get ready first then wake her up.
4:45 am
"good morning sunshine." i gently rubbed her back and set her ice water on her night stand. she drinks it every morning. i also grabbed two of her prenatals she takes every morning and put them next to it.
"it's time to get up love it's 4:45."
she grunted a little then turned over and smiled at me as she stretched.
"i got your ice water and prenatals right here for you to take."
Emelyn's POV/ i woke up to Daniel rubbing my back, ice water, and my prenatal gummies. he's the cutest. i got out of bed and went to the bathroom, which i do almost the whole night bc this girl is RIGHT on my bladder. anyways, i just brushed my hair, brushed my teeth, threw a black romper on and we were out the door.
*an hour later-at the airport*
"ok baby get over here"
he had his arms out wide for a hug and when i got to him, he wrapped me up so tight.
"ohhh imma miss you my love"
"i'll miss you more mr seavey. you better ft me every night"
"oh i will dont you worry"
