Emelyn's POV/ oh my goodness our gender reveal is tomorrow!! my mom is the only one that knows the gender and she's been keeping it a secret for 2 weeks now. i'm so excited to be able to finally start baby's nursery and get stuff for him/her. Daniel is going back on tour with the boys and he won't get off until i'm 7 months!! he leaves the day after our gender reveal. i'm just glad he can make it to that although im going to rlly miss his help and unconditional love:(( i'm just grateful he will be back before i give birth and he will be able to help with the nursery and be there for the baby shower.
*day of gender reveal*
Daniel's POV/ i walked into the bedroom and saw Emelyn and i just stopped and stared at her for a second. she looks so beautiful. she has a tight fitted white dress on that shows her bump so well and she just looks gorgeous. how did i get so lucky? i can definitely tell who the good looking one is in this relationship. "oh heyyyyy beautiful"
she turned around while doing her makeup and said "hey handsome" and whistled.
i walked over to her and put my hands on her belly. i looked down at it and then back up at her. "this baby is so lucky to have a mom like you. he/she's going to be an angel"
she started crying and i giggled a little bit and brushed her hair out of her face. "oh baby don't cry, i love you"
"i love you too" we kissed and i wiped her tears away.
*at the gender reveal*
Emelyn's POV/ we showed up at the gender reveal party and it looked so pretty. there was pink and blue everywhere and a huge cake. both of our mom's are here and they helped set up. there was lots and i mean LOTS of food and drinks, no alcohol of course. there were a bunch of fun games the guests could play and some ppl gave us money for stuff for baby. there were a lot of ppl here from both of our families that we haven't seen in a long time so it was rlly nice being able to visit with them for a little bit.
once everyone got food and played some games, we got called to all gather up and start the reveal. the way we're doing it is, we're each having one smoke bomb. we're going to hold them and get ready for the countdown backwards from 10. we have extra smoke bombs for after as well so we can take cute pictures for instagram. once the countdown ends, we launch the smoke bomb off and it'll have pink or blue in it. i'm so excited.
"are you wishing for a boy or girl babe?"
"it doesn't matter as long as baby is healthy but yk i've always wanted a mini me" it would be awesome to be able to dress up a baby girl in bows and tutu's🥺
"i agree. i want a mini you too gorgeous"
he winked at me and it made me blush. Daniel kissed my stomach and kissed then me one last time and then he said "you ready for this?"
"as ready as i'll ever be"
the crowd started cheering,
