Daniel's POV/ "how do i look?" "like a handsome beast" "yeah? thanks man!" I'm not sure if Corbyn was messing with me or not but imma kill him if he is bc i have a date with Emelyn tonight and i can't blow this. she's beautiful and i rlly wanna get to know her BUT i cant if i look like a dingus hopper. i have to pick her up at 7 and it's 6:30 rn so i think i'll run to get her some flowers but idk what she likes... luckily, i have the perfect person to ask.
*on the phone* anna: hey brother what's up? daniel: anna i'm going on a date tonight and i need to get her some flowers help. anna: which ones does she like? daniel: you think i would be calling you if i knew that? anna: OHHHH aha get her some roses they're more traditional daniel: there's so many different colors of them oh my gosh anna: just get her whatever you like but i have to go i have a meeting daniel: ok thank you bye i love you anna: love you too and good luck *off the phone*
Emelyn's POV/ it's 6:59 and Daniel shows up at my place. this is already off to an amazing start hes on perfect timing. not that i had any doubt in my mind he was going to be bad at this stuff "hi cutie" "hi gorgeous" his big smile with his adorable tooth gap made me smile and giggle a little bit. "what's the giggle for??" "just you that's all" he gets out and comes around the car and opens my door for me, grabbing onto my waist and spinning me around. "sheesh i'm so happy i'm taking you out tonight" "i'm so happy you're taking me out too. parents have been arguing non-stop i need to get out" "oh wow that took a turn. i promise you you'll have the time of your life" i felt so safe with him. no ones ever shown this much compassion towards me before and i've never really had a boyfriend that's treated me like a gentlemen. omg- did i just say boyfriend?
Daniel's POV/ i pulled up to the fancy restaurant i reserved for our date tonight but little does she know, i have more things coming for this beauty "shall we go inside and eat?" "we shall" her cliché (pronounced, clee-shay;) attitude is perfect ik this might sound crazy but i think i'm falling for her... i hope she's falling for me too
Emelyn's POV/ i'm falling so hard for this boy. i mean for God's sake we're sitting at the fanciest restaurant around town. not that it matters that we're at a fancy restaurant it's just being with him that's making me fall even harder. it's not like he has caught me staring him up and down like 80 times but God i can't help myself he's in a dang SUIT!!
3rd person POV/ you two finished eating and the sky's now darkened. you thought he was going to bring you home but instead he grabbed your hand and took you for a walk along the beach. "tonight was fun thank you for getting my mind off things" "yeah anytime." Daniel smiled softly and stood in place, looking over the waters edge. "you know i've been thinking... if you wished for one thing ever in a different lifetime, what would it be?" "hmm i would probably say my dog, Leo. what about you?" Daniel takes a heaping gasp of air as he replies to Emelyn... "i would choose you." and with that being said, his lips touched hers and his big hands swept across her neck. she grabbed onto his waist and pulled him closer to her. Daniel slowly pulled away and said "wanna hangout tmrrw?" Emelyn giggles and replies with a yes. "i'd love to"
