Emelyn's POV/ Dani and i are going to the Casa tonight for dinner to celebrate moving in next week. i still can't believe how fast we got this house and i'm so proud of us for getting it. we put our first down payment on it, which was $100,000. we have to put another 3,000 into it before we can move in but i applied for jobs so hopefully i get one so i can pay it. fingers crossed. Daniel has money coming in of course but i'm not gonna let him do it alone. this house is both of ours. anyways, we're having a glass of wine tonight and some pasta. yummmy we got there and our hands were clasped together. the waitress seated us at a two person table and asked for our drink order. we asked for pink moscato wine. "what kind of pasta are you gonna get baby?"
he always asks me so he can get it too.
"i think i'm just going to get the chicken alfredo pasta with a breadstick"
"ok i'll get the same thing then."
told ya
after a couple minutes, the waitress came back with our wine, wine glasses, and asked for our order. Daniel said what we wanted and she left again.
"hey did you hear back from any of those jobs?"
"yeah actually i have an interview tmrrw to work at a nursing home to do meal prepping and cooking and stuff."
"oh seriously? that's awesome love! i'm sure you'll do awesome"
"i hope so bc i need to pay this $3,000 before next week."
he grabbed my hand and made me look him in the eyes.
"hey don't worry about it. if you can't pay it then i will it's ok. you'll be getting paychecks soon enough and will be able to pay for stuff too. we're in this together, it's perfectly fine if you can't pay the down payment i got it."
i'm so happy i found someone as understanding and caring as he is. he never tries putting me down and make me do things. he's so gentle.
