A week later
Avery: "hey Natalia"
Nat: "yes babe"
Avery: "I found something"
Nat: "what did you find?"
Avery pulls out a box onto the bed
Avery: "I was going through the attic and found this"
She opens the box and inside were their ballet shoes
Nat: "our ballet shoes"
She smiles
Avery: "we should ask if nick can take of Alexei sometime during the week so we can do to a studio and dance"
Nat: "that sounds like a great idea. Speaking of Alexei, we should probably pick him up. He has a shorter school day today since we need to take him to the doctor"
Avery: "how long will it take to get there?"
Nat: "about 20 minutes"
Avery: "yeah we should head over to his school"
Natasha and Avery get into Natasha's car and drive to Alexei's school
Nat: "do you think it's a bad idea that I'm walking into the school you know the whole avenger thing. Like I know your an avenger to b-"
Avery: "Natalia you will be fine. It's just going to be a couple of minutes"
They walk into the school
Front desk person: "hello how can I help you"
Nat: "hi we are here to pick up our son Alexei, we have to take him to an appointment"
Front desk person: "and the last name is?"
Nat: "Romanoff. Alexei Romanoff"
Avery looks at Natasha
Nat: "I mean Rushman. Alexei Rushman"
F.D.P.: "alright let me print out a sign-out sheet then I will call him from his classroom"
Avery: "thank you"
A couple moments later
F.D.P.: "Mrs. and Mrs. Rushman it says Alexei was pulled from school about 5 minutes before you both arrived"
(even though Avery and Natasha's last name is Romanoff, they go by Rushamn in public to keep Alexei safe)
Nat and Avery in unison: "what!"
Avery: "We were supposed to pick him up today not anyone else"
Nat: "by who?"
F.D.P.: "it says here by a natalia alianova"
Avery and Natasha look at each other
Avery: "that's impossible"
Nat: "no one knows my actual name but the team and"
Avery: "you don't think"
Nat: "can we see the security cameras?"
F.D.P.:" of course"
She pulls up the security footage
Nat: "sh*t you were right"
Avery: "we are screwed"
