"I've never heard of Scarlett Island before," I told Liam as I'm buckling my seatbelt.

"Yeah because it belongs to the Montgomery's." my jaw dropped. You have got to be kidding me.

"Wait, so what you're saying is that this island the we're about to spend our honeymoon at, is yours?" I asked incredulously.

"My family's. But technically, yup. Mine." he said popping the 'p'.

"Bloody hell." I accidentally said that out loud, "Sorry."

He smiled in return. That smile is going to be the death of me, I tell you.

We arrived on the island 15 minutes after the announcement were made. The landing was smooth. But then, they wouldn't have hired them right? We unbuckled our seatbelts and told the pilots and flight attendant our gratitudes for the flight.

We descended down the stairs and there were two buggies, one was filled with our luggage and the other, I assume will be our ride.

The short trip to the place we will be staying was filled with beautiful sceneries and landscapes. Though it was full of trees and the never ending view of the sea, it was beautiful, nonetheless. I'm in love with this beautiful island, of the weather, the sound of the birds chirping and the soothing sound of the ocean waves. This is very different than our sleepless city.

We arrived in front of a house. The word house is Liam's words not mine. Because to me, it looks like a castle. Yup, that is how big the so-called house is. Well maybe, I may be exaggerating. It isn't as big as a castle, but you know what I mean.

Liam unlocked the door of the house and they dropped our luggage and left. I was too busy taking in the beautiful place. The interiors look old but it still feels nice and cosy. I stared at every inch of the house from the ceiling to the floor and even the small details like the lamps.

I didn't care what Liam would think of me as I went into every room of the house. It was a two-storey house, so it didn't take such a long to tour the whole inside of the house.

As I went back down to the living room, I saw a view that catches my sight completely. It was a view that I only see in pictures or photographs. The view literally took my breath away.

I ran towards the sliding door and opened it with ease. The sea water is so clear that you could see what's down under if you look closely. On my life side, there is a swimming pool as big as a tennis court or maybe even bigger and a slide at the corner of the pool.

I walked towards the dock and sat on the edge of it to dip my feet in the water. I could see a shoal of fish swimming besides one another happily as they move around.

The fresh air is refreshing compared to New York City's polluted air and the sound of waves crashing together compared to the New York City's traffic. But even so, I still love the city no matter how rough it gets each day.

I heard footsteps walking on the dock and I assumed that it was Liam. My thoughts were right as he sat down beside me. I didn't look his way but continued looking ahead.

"You kind of disappeared back there," Liam said and chuckled.

"I did, didn't I?"

"Seems to me like you're excited to be here?" he asked.

"Ecstatic, to be more exact." I stated truthfully.

"You don't travel much, do you?"

"How could I? I've barely had enough money to support my daily life, yet again to travel elsewhere." I exclaimed pitifully.
