Lake

Loki's POV:
After the ship was destroyed I was just standing there. That was our last hope! Oh Sylvie is going to hate me for this.

As I thought of Sylvie I turn to where she was and didn't see her. I saw her in the distance walking away so I quickly run towards her.

After running a bit I see her sitting in front of some lake. I sit down on the rock that was beside her. It was silent until I said "I'm sorry".

Sylvie remained silent and than said "I remember Asgard" We started talking about her home and How she's here. She told me how she caused a nexus event. "It was like a red flare"

"I lived on the ends of a thousands worlds....and that's where I'll die." When she said that last part I felt bad.

I'm Loki feeling bad for me? It is my fault if I didn't get full on that train!

"Not long now" Sylvie gets me out of thoughts. There was another silence until she spoke again.

"Do you think what makes a Loki a Loki is the fact that we're destined to lose?" I respond "No". She looks at me and I continue.

"We may lose...sometimes painfully but we don't die We survive." Sylvie starts looking at me sad now I felt extremely guilty so I tried to cheer her up. Telling her how amazing she was.

"I mean you did. You were just a child when the TVA took you but you nearly took down the organization that claims to govern the order of time. You did it on your own. You ran rings around them. You're amazing!" I spoke truth.

Sylvie POV:
When he said "Your amazing!" I realized I loved him. The thought he was trying to make me feel better knowing we are both gonna die got me.

I but my arm on his because If I was gonna die I would like to feel someone for the next time.

He looks at with shock and inspects our  arms.

Loki POV:
When she put her hand on mines I started to get this weird feeling I don't know why. I look back up at Sylvie and look at her. Did I really have feelings for her?

It was a small thought but I was brought out of it when we heard the crash of a piece of that moon crashing in front of the lake.

We both look towards it and watched it crash and start to make these giant waves heading towards us.

Instinctively I move my arm back and grab her hand in mines. I look back at her to see if she was ok with that. She looked pretty scared but calmed down a bit after I started to look at her. I don't know what this feeling is because I've never felt it.

We kept staring into each other eyes.I had this feeling to hold her closer. We were looking into each other eyes like we were depending on it. We were ignoring all the chaos around us. All I needed was her.

Sylvie POV:
I wanted to hold him closer. I was loving this moment. We both notice the portals behind us.

We get up and I let go of his hand. If we went in there we would be in trouble. Once we went through there was guards everywhere. 3 grab me and 2 grab him. I try to get out but I couldn't. Before we take a turn to the room they would be taking me in I look at Loki.

Loki POV:
She looked at me before taking the turn and I knew I had to help her. I try to make the guards lose grip but they held on stronger.

"Well?"
"Well, what?" What does he need to say.
