All the female employees started shrieking, "CEO Manoban, what a surprise! We are so happy to see you here. Come and join us please." This was their chance to be close to the CEO and who knows she might become interested in them emotionally!

Jin Young was most stunned. His plans for the night were falling apart in front of his eyes. In CEO Manoban's presence, he couldn't propose Irene. He had to maintain the decorum of an office gathering. His eyes watered and he swallowed his saliva. But how did CEO Manoban come to know about this party? He didn't dare to ask.

"CEO, please come and have a drink with us," he stood up and invited weakly trying to keep his misery at bay.

"Who is the birthday boy?" asked Lisa since she didn't know his name.

"I am," replied Jin Young raising his hand.

'Oh, so he is the one! And he was sitting right next to Irene!' Lisa clenched her teeth.

If Lisa had a gun, she would have shot him right there.

Lisa went close to him, stood right in front of Irene almost blocking her view from Jin Young, and shook her hands with him. "Happy Birthday!" she greeted impassively. Then shamelessly she sat in the chair that was previously occupied by Jin Young.

"Thank you," said Jin Young feebly hating CEO for taking his seat.

All the men in the party quieted, while the women became ecstatic. The men gave jealous glares to Jin Young for being so lucky to have the CEO in his party. The women were more jealous of Irene who was sitting close to the CEO. But they didn't pay much attention since they knew that the CEO hated Irene.

One of them got up from her place and went near Lisa. She was drinking wine. She sipped her wine and offered her glass to her, "CEO, try this wine. This is Chardannoy. You'll love it." She said that in the sexiest voice with tongue rolling in her mouth.

Lisa stood up from her chair to face her. Much to the girl excitement she took the wine glass from her hand and 'accidently' poured the wine over her dress.

"Sorry," she apologized impassively.

She cowered, turned back to go to her seat and shrank in her chair. Irene noticed this and shook her head for the poor soul.

The beverages and dinner was ordered. Beer and whiskey was flowing in between people around the table. Lisa was swiftly taking every peg of whiskey or vodka or gin that was coming Irene's way. She stashed most of it in front of her and drank little to maintain her sobriety. Irene was vexed! Lisa was not letting a single beverage reach her.

Finally Irene became so angry at her constant meddling that she got up to fetch beer for her from the other side of the table. Lisa couldn't hold her hand in the party so she looked at her with narrowed eyes and tried to stop her indicating her to sit back. Irene arrogantly left her place and went to the other side where her female colleagues were enjoying. She picked a fresh can of beer, opened it and started chugging it down.

When she was one beer and two pegs of vodka down, she felt her body was going to catch fire! She removed her first set of clothing, a turtle neck sweater and tossed it at the back of her chair. She loosened a bit and started smiling more than usual. Lisa was watching her with contempt and disdain! She was mentally trying to control her. But Lisa was no mage, so nothing worked. Lisa soon had to take an action to handle this savage.

To add to Lisa's troubles, Jin Young came over to her and tried to find a place to sit near Irene.

Jin Young couldn't find a place to sit near her so he pulled a chair from a different seating arrangement and sat beside her. He initiated a conversation with her again hoping to express his feelings for her now.

'Yes!" Irene shouted nodding vigorously.
