A week later . . .

My plane to New York landed much earlier than planned, so I went to Connor's hotel to spend some time with him.

" Connor? Are you there? " I knocked on his hotel door.

Nobody responded so I was about to go back to my room when his door was opened.

" Yo Nathan! " James greeted me laughing.

" James! " we gave us a bro-hug and I entered the room.

" I thought you and Brad are returning to England today. " I asked James.

" Nah. Tomorrow evening. " James winked.

" Your plane landed earlier than expected. Connor and Brad went to the airport to fetch ya. " James said.

" Yes ?"

" I better gonna call Connor that he and Brad should come back to the hotel since you are here and not at the airport. " I nodded.

" Connor must have been excited for the last few days , I guess. "

" Yes. Extremely. He and Ellie kinda get well along. And you and Rose? "

" Everything is fine between us. She's a bit quiet, but sometimes very quirky. And her hunger ! " I laughed.

" Rose was always very hungry and quirky. You have said that she's a bit quiet. Rose used to be quiet when she's thinking about something. Something that is very important to her. But this was seldom. She always laughed a lot with Brad and both of them were very happy. Great old times. " James told and turned on the TV.

Rose is a happy girl and she laughs quite often but she often spends time on her own with reading , writing and the TV too.

" Rose and Brad, were they very happy? " I asked James.

" Yes, they were. They were like those weird couples on TV. They went often out and they spend a lot of time together. And when they weren't together, they texted a lot like in old times when they have known each other on the internet. "

" Rose texted ? "

" Yes! She did a lot ! Mostly Bradley texted her some really stupid jokes and she was giggling about them all day long. They never really had an argument. Bradley was such a happy young man in that time. He shouldn't have done that bullshit which had separated him with Rose. " James told me.

So Rose and Bradley were different persons when they dated each other. Did their splitting change them so much ?

" Nathan ! Someone is calling you. "

I grabbed my mobile from my pocket and answered the call.

" Nathan! Finally you have answered the call! Rose's and Ellie's plane is landing an hour earlier and if you don't drag your butt to the next taxi now, you will miss your girlfriend's arrival! " Connor told me through the phone.

" Aye aye! I'm coming! " I said and hung up.

" I'm going to the airport! See ya later! " I shouted to James before leaving the room.
