" Why are you so excited , Ellie ?? " I asked her when we went to the subway station.

" I really don't know, but I have that terrible feeling that something very important or bad will happen today. " Ellie said.

" Duhhhh . . . Today is our big shopping tour for this evening. Nothing important or bad will happen. "

" Yes I know! But after that musical on Broadway we will go to two different restaurants and . . . . - "

" - Ellie ! Only because Nathan and me are going to have dinner at some other place it won't mean that anyone of us will die or something like that. "

" Are you sure ? " Ellie asked concerned.

" Yesss ! C'mon Ellie ! Let's go shopping and forget all that shit that happened in the last few days. "

" Shit ? Of which shit are you talking about? "

" That all with Bradley. "

" Ah . . . But nothing happened to  Bradley. He was drunk and you took care of him which was very kind of you. "

I didn't say anything while we got on the train.

" Are you thinking about him ? " Ellie asked me some moments later and I was surprised, because I've been engrossed in thoughts.

" Nathan ? "

" Well, good because I haven't been thinking about him. " I chuckled.

" I mean Bradley ! "

Well, I've been thinking about Brad a lot in the last few days, but now ? I think hadn't.

" Uhm . . . No !? Why should I ? " I stuttered and I didn't know why.

" Ahh . . . Have you noticed ? "

" What should I have noticed ? Ellie finish your sentences ! "

" He has been going to the gym for a half an year. Well, not that frequently like James, but quite often. "

" Who ? Connor ? I'm sorry, but I don't check out your boyfriend. "

" Tsssss. . . I'm not talking about Connor ! I'm talking about Bradley ! "

" Ah " I blushed, because I did remember how well-toned his body was compared to three years ago.

" You have to admit that he's getting hot, isn't he ? "

I looked at the newspaper next to me and acted like I wouldn't have heard her last sentence.
