Sleeping Together (Obamutsu)

Hello everyone! I'm back! I hope I didn't take too long. Other than that let's get on with the story!

       "Come on, Mitsuri! Think!" Mitsuri frantically tried to think of something before putting it on paper that was in front of her. She was writing down things that she and Iguro could do since they both have been on missions and couldn't spend time with each other. Mitsuri heard a knock on her closed door, "Mitsuri? You alright? You've been in there for 5 hours straight. What's going on?" Shinobu her best friend said her voice laced with concern. "AAAAAH! Uh- Nothing! N-Nothing at all! Nope just trying to figure out new food combinations. He he" Mitsuri tried her best to not try to sound nervous. "Well can I come in? I just want to see you" Shinobu said calmly. "Y-You can't!" Mitsuri said frantically her face sweating a but nervous of what would happen if she let Shinobu in.

"Why not?" Shinobu asked growing impatient putting her hands on her hips. "Uh, um.... Oh. Because the food combinations are a secret and I want to serve them to the rest of you guys once they are done" Mitsuri lied desperately trying to get rid of Shinobu or else she would tease her about Iguro if she found out. "Well, ok. I'm worried about you as much as Iguro is" Shinobu said knowing that his name will mess her up. "W-Wait. He's been worried about me?" Mitsuri said guilt in her stomach not wanting to make Iguro worry about her. "Well yeah. You haven't noticed him on the trees around you watching over you? Kinda creepy if you ask me" Shinobu said a slight shudder go up her spine. EEEEEEEK!! IGURO-SAN IS WORRIED ABOUT ME!!!! What should I do? Mitsuri thought as she tried to think of something she should do. "Anyway I will let you get back to whatever your doing. But I better see you out here in the next half hour to an hour. Or else" Shinobu said and it made Mitsuri shiver in fear because there are a lot of things Shinobu could tell the others about her that they don't know and wish that they don't.

       It was nighttime and the Hashira's went to their estates and went to sleep in a nice peaceful slumber. Except for one. Mitsuri was still up nervous of the new plan she has made to spend time with Iguro. "Easy. Just say you had a nightmare and bring out the face you have him let you sleep with him" Mitsuri said to herself in a whisper as she went over the plan in her head but with how it might go. "Though it might be weird for me to come in and say suddenly to want to sleep with him. I just don't want the wrong idea to come across his mind" Mitsuri doubted herself now taking in the possibilities of what it would be like awkwardly. "Whatever. I'll just do it. If anything goes wrong I will think of something. Besides he's been there for me multiple times. Why would this be any different. Oh, I know. Because we would be sleeping together!" Mitsuri almost shouted the last words out loud before she caught herself.

"Whatever let's just do this" Mitsuri thought as she got out of bed and slid opened her door. She then made her way towards his estate and kept giving herself confidence.

       Once she got there she took a deep breath and then rapidly knocked on his door rapidly. She waited a few moments before she gets sluggish footsteps. "Who is it?" Iguro said opening the door rubbing his eyes and Kaburamaru on his shoulders. "Hey, Iguro. It's me" Mitsuri said trying not to sound nervous. "Mitsuri? What are you doing here at this late at night?" Iguro said confused leaning on the door frame. The way he was doing sent Mitsuri into overdrive as she had trouble looking at him when he looked so attractive to her. "I, um, I-I got a nightmare" Mitsuri said running her fingers through her hair at a fast pace.

       Iguro then went into protective mode and tried to console her as he brought her in for a hug. Her head was up against his chest when he hugged her and she felt like a red tomato for being this close. "I-Iguro-San?" Mitsuri stuttered not able to comprehend the situation. "Don't worry. I'm here for you. Come in. I'll fix your favorite tea" Iguro said taking her hand and bringing her to a kitchen and have her sit down on a pillow. Kaburamaru slithered onto her arm and onto her shoulders to comfort her. He pressed his head against her cheek to muzzle her and make her feel better. "If you need anything I'll make or get it for you. Just name it" Iguro said going through the cupboards to look for cups and tea packs. "Well I was just wondering if I could sleep with you so that if I get another nightmare your there for me" Mitsuri gulped as her heart raced at what she just said. "S-Sure. Just, um, uh, let me make tea for you and once your done we can go to bed" Iguro then cleared his throat feeling his face heat up at the sudden request.

       Mitsuri mentally felt nervous and now doubted herself because she just made it awkward .

       It has been a good 30 to 45 minutes before she finished her tea and they went to Iguro's room where Kaburamaru went to sleep on a stand with many poles on it like the trunk and branches of a tree. Once Iguro and Mitsuri got in bed, Mitsuri grabbed onto Iguro's waist almost immediately taking Iguro back slightly at the movement. "Ah! I'm so sorry I didn't mean to do that! Force of habit!" Mitsuri said and went to take her arms away before Iguro stopped her. "No. It's fine. Just... surprised me was all" Iguro said with a smile. Mitsuri smiled back and snuggled up closer to Iguro burying her head into his chest inhaling his scent. Iguro wrapped his arm around her shoulders and one around her head. "Good night, Mitsuri. Love you" Iguro blurted out before he realized what he said. "G-Good night, Iguro. Love you too" Mitsuri said too tired to think and just went with it. But she would be lying if she wasn't blushing at the comment he made.

       I'm the morning Iguro woke up first, the sun rays shining into his room. He rubbed his eyes and was about to get up before something around his abdomen stopped him. He looked down and it was Mitsuri's arms wrapped around him. He then tried to slowly and quietly get out of her grip before she tightened it and grumbled. She held a frustrated look which looked adorable to Iguro, "No...mmmm~ Stay here with me~" Mitsuri said slightly moaning. Iguro then just relaxing back into her grasp and she loosened up and smiled with conempt. "Mmmm~ Iguro-San~ You're so strong and manly~" Mitsuri talked in her sleep and they made Iguro explode. He just decided not to to anything because he froze in place. "I'll deal with it when she wakes up" Iguro said before going back to sleep.

There you go! I hope this isn't too short.... Anyway I'm back so you guys can send me one-shots now! YIPPEE!!! Anyway I hope you have a nice rest of you day!
