Jealous Butterfly (Giyushino)

This lovely One-shot was requested by 'NW__48' and as the title suggests its Shinobu being jealous so hope you enjoy!

       "Thank you for the report you two" Ubuyashiki said with his usual smile as he dismissed the Water and Insect Pillar. As the two left the room into the light they squinted their eyes to the bright sunny light. "Tomioka-san! Where are you going now!" Shinobu said poking his arm trying to agitate him as always. "That is none of your concern" Giyu said not even looking at her as he made his way to the Love Pillars house. "Oh come on! I'm your friend. Oh wait! You have no friends, silly me!" Shinobu said with a huge grin on her face as she continued to follow him and poke his arm. "I have friends" Giyu said with his normal depressed expression. "Imaginary" Shinobu said and Giyu just abruptly stopped and Shinobu bumbled into him making her step back once. "Leave me alone Kocho. I don't need your company right now" Giyu said as he looked at her and saw her face. It was something that had a somewhat hurt expression on it.

       "Oh come on! You love my company!" Shinobu said putting the smile back on her face. "Not right now. So leave me be and go find something else to do. If you don't I'm going to knock you out and put you in the pound where you have to endure the furry animals" Giyu said with a depressed expression and continued to stare at Shinobu. "Oh come on it's not like you would do that to little ol' me" Shinobu said waving into the air. "I mean it. Leave me alone Shinobu" Giyu said making Shinobu surprised since he only uses her name in serious situations. She felt a little heartbroken that he didn't want her presence as he would usually not even care or like her presence. "Ok, fine. I'll go" Shinobu said as she walked towards the butterfly mansion. Giyu watched her walk away knowing that she wasn't there before turning around and walking towards Mitsuri's residence where she was happily waiting for him.

       Shinobu was jumping from tree to tree watching from above trying to see why he wanted to get rid of her presence. She watched closely as he was standing in front of Mitsuri, perhaps too close of you ask her. She was watching them and she seemed to hear their conversation almost in audibly. So she decided to drop down and hid in the bushes underneath one of Mitsuri's windows. She can now hear them and get a picture of what they're talking about. "...these flowers are wonderful! Thank you Tomioka-san!" Mitsuri said as she took the roses from Giyu. When Shinobu looked she saw them hugging. The sight made her heart throb and clench each beat it made. She held her chest as she felt tears wanting to escape, He never gave ME flowers. He never even brought up the idea or even gave evidence of wanting to give me flowers Shinobu thought as the tears now started to fall down her cheeks. Was I possibly just a sister or a best friend to him and he had secret feelings for Mitsuri all this time? I mean the past couple of times I have seen them hanging out a lot more than usual. What surprises me is that Iguro didn't show any hate towards Tomioka or felt any jealousy. Shinobu thought and the more she thought about it her head throbbed and she felt sick.

       "Hahahahaha!" Mitsuri said as she laughed and when she snapped back she saw Tomioka smiling. Smiling. Something he never did or seemed to never want to do around her in all of the time they have been friends. There her heart goes again, it ached as she thought of Giyu as a friend. She wanted nothing more than to burst in and take Giyu away from Mitsuri and make him hers. She decided not to as they could be doing something completely different than what they are actually doing right now. She covered her mouth as she tried to hide her sobs to try and not blow her cover. She was so caught up in what she was doing she didn't realize Giyu had started talking again."...and I can't live without you. You make me so happy and I hope you love me the same way I do you. So can you promise me to make me happy and be my forever lover?" Giyu said as he held Mitsuri's hands and Mitsuri held the biggest smile she could muster. "Of course! I would love you till the day I die! You make me so happy!" Mitsuri said and what they were doing next made her heart shatter. They were leaning in for a kiss, Shinobu gave out her cover and dashed in pushing Mitsuri away and standing in front of Giyu. "Shinobu what are y-" Giyu said but Shinobu slapped him hard across the face.

       "Shinobu what is wrong with you?" Mitsuri said getting up and getting ready in case Shinobu tried to attack again. Shinobu turned towards Mitsuri and spat venom in Mitsuri's face. "What's wrong with me? What's wrong with you! You knew I loved Giyu a long time ago and you pull a stunt like this!? I thought you were my friend Mitsuri. I trusted you with my secrets, now I don't know if I can trust you to keep the ones I told you or use them to your advantage! What have I done to you to deserve this from you! What? What about Iguro? Does he know your cheating on him? Does he know your in love with another man? Giyu out of all of the men we know?" Shinobu said and Mitsuri was shocked that seeing her and Tomioka like this made her THIS mad and heartbroken. "Shinobu it's not what you think" Mitsuri said trying to calm her friend down. "Not what I think? What do you mean? I see my crush, and my best friend about to make out! What is there that I'm not seeing? Huh!? Cause to me I don't have any other idea what it might be!" Shinobu said sobbing as well and tears streaming down her cheeks. "And you!" Shinobu said turning towards a shocked Giyu who didn't know what to do. "You know, I may seem like I'm teasing you, and I bully you! But that's only because I love you! I love you for who you are! I love your caring personality! I love that your so brave and you hold in your emotions and not let them show! I love your kindness and your rare smiles even when you don't think I see them! You make me all giddy inside and you make my stomach turn when I look into your eyes! You make me want to kill ever demon for you! You make me have a purpose in life besides slaying demons! And seeing you with my best friend, actually I don't even know if I should call her that anymore after the stunt she pulled with me! It broke my heart in more ways than one! I just wanted to let y-" Shinobu said as she was banging her fists on his chest and crying before he took her chin and making her head look at him before kissing her. She was caught off guard widening her eyes before closing them and leaning in for a long and passionate kiss.

       When they pulled away they looked in each other's eyes and held each other's hands and before Shinobu could talk Giyu said: "Shinobu. I wasn't going out with Mitsuri. The only reason I'm here is because I need help. I need help to confess to you because I'm not good with that kind of stuff and the only person that could help me is Mitsuri. Iguro doesn't mind because Mitsuri told him what she and I were going to be doing. So what I'm trying to say is that I needed to help to say that you are beautiful, kind, generous, your smile is the thing that plagues my dreams at nights. During the day I look forward to your prescience, your teasing and bullying makes me know that you will always be there for me no matter what and that might sound wielded now that I say it out loud ha ha. All I'm trying to say is that if you ever leave this world, for me, it's not worth living in. I just really love you and wish to live out the rest of my life with you" Giyu said placing his hands around her waist and pulling her in. "EEEEEEEK!!! SO CUTE!!!! I CAN JUST DIE OF ADORABLENESS!!!!" Mitsuri shrieked looking at the two.

The lovers blushed and looked away but still in each other's embrace. Giyu then felt a weight lean against him, "I'm happy as long as I'm with you, my little droplet" Shinobu said sighing happily with a smile. "Same here my little Butterfly" Giyu said and they walked out of the house, Mitsuri on the floor unconscious from what she just saw before Iguro walked in and took her to bed.
