The Chronicles of the Black Flower [HeiHua]

黑花: 1,000 Sheep

Notes:
1. These are short fics based on the Lost Tomb: Ultimate Note's version of Hei XiaZi (actor: Liu YuNing) and Xie YuChen (actor: Liu YuHan). Characters might seem a little ooc if you picture other versions of HeiHua here.
2. These characters are not as well-known internationally but I love them to bits! Anyway, these are just written for fun for a friend so please just enjoy them with an open mind.
3. Do give Ultimate Note a chance and watch it if you can. It's really different from the other Lost Tomb series (even the best in my humble opinion).
4. Hei XiaZi / Hei YanJing / Hei Ye is the same person.
5. Xie YuChen / Xie YuHua / Xiao Hua / Hua Er Ye is the same person.
6. Timeline for these stories is not in chronological order.

"Xiao Hei" 

"Xiao Hei" 

The calls continued to echo in vain along the long corridors without any answers. 

"Xiao Hei. Baobei? Come here." 

The calls continued but there were still no answers. 

"Now where did he run off to? It's almost time to get him to the vet," Xiao Hua mumbled to himself. 

They had stopped by this particular area for some work and since it was taking longer than expected, Xiao Hua had made the decision to stay for a couple of days in one of his holiday villas located nearby. 

On their way there however, Xiao Hua had noticed that Xiao Hei seemed to had been a little unwell so Xiao Hua had wanted to send him to a vet to be looked at. 

The greyish black cat was however, nowhere to be found. 

Xiao Hua walked towards his bedroom with the hope of finding Xiao Hei in there. Once he walked into the room however, Xiao Hua stopped dead in his track. 

"What are you doing?" 

"En?" 

"What are you doing?" Xiao Hua asked again, his tone a little accusive. 

"Hmm.... Trying to take a nap with Xiao Hei?" 

"On MY bed?" 

"Since when have you become so calculative, Hua Er? What's mine is yours and what's yours is mine, no?" 

"Ever since you didn't bother to even let me know that you're alive." 

"I told you. It really wasn't my fault. There really wasn't any line there!" Xia Zi propped his head up a little and protested. 

Xiao Hua knew that of course. He knew it really wasn't Xia Zi's fault. He was only being difficult with Xia Zi because he hated the fact that this man could turn his world upside down so easily. 

No one could possibly know how afraid or anxious he feels whenever Xia Zi just disappears without a trace during missions.

He only wanted to punish Xia Zi a little so that he could even out the grievances in his own heart. 

And now this man is here being this... This... This abomination in broad daylight! 

Xia Zi was wearing nothing save for a pair of underwear. He was lying there almost naked on Xiao Hua's bed in his full glory - the full view of his perky butt and his muscular body was mercilessly assaulting Xiao Hua's eyes and senses. 

Xiao Hua looked away, unwilling to be enamoured any further by the man lying on his bed. 

"Xiao Hua ah," Xia Zi cooed as he got up and walked casually towards Xiao Hua. 

Xiao Hua was still unwilling to look at him and had his back turned towards Xia Zi. He crossed his arms and looked out the glass doors and at the panoramic view of the sea instead. 

Xia Zi got closer and tried to hug Xiao Hua but the smaller guy only got even more annoyed and pushed him away. 

"You've always been such a kind hearted person, Hua Er Ye. Can't you forgive this poor little gege this time?"

"No," Xiao Hua said as he walked away from Xia Zi and towards the glass doors. 

Xia Zi only needed to take one long stride to catch up. He grabbed Xiao Hua and pushed. In a flash, Xiao Hua's back was already pushed onto one of the glass doors and he was facing Xia Zi again. Xia Zi put both of his long and muscular arms out on either side of Xiao Hua to trap him there. 

Xiao Hua instantly looked up and glared at Xia Zi. 

"Let me go or you'll regret this," Xiao Hua threatened. 

Xia Zi took a second to think about it and then gave Xiao Hua a big and annoying grin. 

"N-O." 

Xia Zi was clearly enjoying this although he knew Xiao Hua must be livid at this point. 

"If I let you go now, I'd regret it forever." 

Xiao Hua seemed taken aback a little but only for a few seconds. He recomposed himself and tried pushing Xia Zi away. 

"Stop messing with me, you asshole," Xiao Hua said exasperatedly as he continued his futile attempt to escape from Xia Zi's arms. 

The difference in their sizes and the difference in decades of experience really does put Xiao Hua at a disadvantage. Xiao Hua was trapped like a desperate little mouse in the paws of a playful seasoned cat. 

Without warning, Xia Zi suddenly pulled Xiao Hua into a tight embrace, trying to calm his raging lover down. 

"I'm not messing with you. You know that," Xia Zi whispered into his lover's ear as he continued hugging him tightly. "Can't you forgive me just this once?" 

Xiao Hua remained silent and oddly still in Xia Zi's embrace. 

"Well? Can't you?"

"No," came the muffled voice of Xiao Hua who had buried his face into Xia Zi's neck. 

Xia Zi could feel the smaller frame of Xiao Hua slowly hugging him back tightly. He only chuckled a little in amusement and gave Xiao Hua a deep kiss on his forehead. 

"Then what can I do to make our Xie Laoban forgive this useless blind man who has so foolishly offended him?"

"The 1,000 sheep will now be increased to 1,100 sheep," Xiao Hua muttered with his face still buried. 

Xia Zi laughed. 

"That's a bit unfair, don't you think, Xie Laoban?"

"And every time you pull shits like this, the number of sheep will be increased by 100."

"Xie Laoban. I'm just a poor old blind man. How can I possibly be able to pay you so many sheep?"

"You'll never be able to. Don't even dream of escaping me this lifetime."

"I wouldn't dare," Xia Zi answered as his grin deepened. He leaned down and gave his lover another kiss as a confirmation of his promise. 

[Note: I really really like tsundere Xiao Hua. He's just too cute. And I bet Xia Zi feels the same way. And for those worried about Xiao Hei, he'll be fine. He was finally taken to the vet after the whole drama between his two owners ended. On a side note, I think I might really faint if Xia Zi appears so scantily clad like that in front of me XD]
