David walked around like a chicken making sure everything was unplugged that he thought needed to be unplugged. He thought it was silly to unplug the television but if he didn't do that he might get an earful. Becca had re-checked Marjorie's suitcase and David had already put her box of tampons inside. Becca had put a box of her own in her suitcase as well. Along with a toothbrush and toothpaste. She had went to the corner store while David had took a nap and got her toiletries. She closed Marjorie's suitcase and brought it to the door next to her suitcase while David was double checking the windows. "Okay, we're good. Marjorie's going to meet us at the airport with her car since she doesn't want to leave it at that asshole's parking lot. Wouldn't blame her, actually."

Becca nodded, opened the door and carried both suitcases out the door and waited for David to go lock the door. He was carrying his suitcase and looked up ahead, surprised that Becca was carrying two suitcases like they were feathers. Just who was this girl? He promised himself he wouldn't pry though. If she was crying and Marjorie was there and seen that, he wouldn't hear the end of it, so he decided to just keep his mouth shut and follow Becca down the stairs.

"Truck's in the second parking stall. You'll see it. It's next to where Marjorie parks."

Becca nodded as she saw an orange truck.

"Just pop the suitcases in the back." He threw his suitcase in the back, and saw Becca setting both of her suitcases nicely in the back. They got into the truck and he started it up and started to drive. He turned on the radio. "Hey, what kind of music do you listen to?"

"I love classical."

He bit his lip, shrugged and put it on the classical station. Oh well, he thought to himself, wouldn't hurt to get a little culture in him. Might do him some good with Marjorie. Although she and him listened to good ole rock n' roll. He had no idea what was playing on the radio, but he saw Becca's body relax for the first time he'd seen her. She had leaned back and her eyes were closed listening to the music so he thought it'd be a good idea to leave her that way. Since she had broke someone's arm. He pulled into the airport parking lot and Becca's eyes opened. He shut off the radio and took out his keys and they both grabbed the suitcases from the back. David tried to get Marjorie's but Becca already grabbed Marjorie's suitcase as well as her own. He shrugged and walked with Becca into the airport.

Becca again was in wonderment at how the airport looked futuristic like the mall she had gone to with Marjorie. The roof had two dome structures this time and the doors opened by themselves. She noticed the amount of space in the airport. There were stores, most of them closed, a few of them open. She saw a newspaper stand with the picture of that politician she saw on TV. She nodded. That guy was popular considering a lot of people didn't like him. She wondered if he would end up winning the election. Her internet research told her that popularity won, not necessarily who the better candidate would be. It was like that at the compound too. There were politics there. Sam was definitely not a good Squad Leader, she felt she could be better, which was a stupid idea, considering she didn't want to be in that place. They saw Marjorie standing by a candy shop. David set his bag down and gave her a hug and a kiss, then Marjorie let him go and glared at him.
