The Dark Mist waited for five minutes then came out of the alley where he saw Jerome wearing the smurf's mask. He'd really need to get him another mask and soon. That smurf one was appalling. Jerome waited as The Dark Mist went into the cab. He had finished his cup of coffee and tossed it into the trash before getting in. Jerome checked again for traffic, did a U-turn and they drove back to the same spot The Dark Mist was picked up from. The Dark Mist said goodbye to Jerome and went behind the tree once again.

Once Jerome left, Becca's mask and hood were in the backpack once again. She would have to think about getting some kind of coat or insulation for herself during this cold weather. Or colder weather. It was still November so it wasn't too bad, bearable, but it would get worse. She opened the door, set the alarm once again, closed it and returned upstairs where she could hit her bed and fall asleep. First she took off her uniform, slipped on a pair of pajamas then let herself fall asleep in between the covers.

She heard a knock on her room door. Becca opened her eyes and looked towards the door. The knock happened again and she heard Veronica's voice asking if she were awake.

"Yeah, hold on," said Becca. Becca trotted to the door and opened it a peek. Veronica stood there in jogging pants and a sweatshirt.

"Sorry to wake you, but there's someone here to see you."

"Ethan?"

"No, your sister. She's downstairs."

Becca nodded. "My sister?"

"Yeah, sleepy head."

"I'll be right there," said Becca. Veronica let her close the door and Becca rubbed her eyes wondering if she was dreaming. She pinched herself and realized she wasn't. She didn't have a sister though, unless it was Marjorie. Marjorie was a kind of sister. She smiled as she threw on her gown It was probably Marjorie and Veronica must have misunderstood or something. Marjorie may have said "we are like sisters." Veronica had never met Marjorie before, after all, Becca only started living with Veronica at the beginning of the term and they got along great. In fact, she remembered she had cleaning duty this Saturday which suited her fine. She'd clean up a bit then hit the mall and buy that mask for Jerome. Becca threw on her gown, went to the bathroom to wash her face and tried to smooth out her hair so it didn't look too messy. She trotted downstairs in her bare feet, went into the kitchen and said "Hey Marjorie, I didn't even know you were coming." Becca's jaw dropped as she saw the person sitting in the kitchen drinking a cup of coffee. She was wearing a white dress with yellow sunflowers on it and a beige cardigan over top. She was wearing brown heels. Her hair was like Becca's except it was more brown than blonde. Donna actually looked beautiful for once, but she could see the creases in her skin making her look older. Not so much wrinkles but all of her experiences showing on her face.

"Sorry about that," said Donna. "We're not sisters exactly, but we're like sisters."

"That's wonderful," said Veronica. "Well, I'll leave you two alone, probably have a lot to talk about. I need to buy groceries anyway."

"Nice meeting you," said Donna. "And thanks for the coffee."

"You're quite welcome," said Veronica.. "Very nice meeting you too, I know so little about Becca."

"Yeah, she's the quiet one, that's for sure."

Becca smirked.

Veronica gave Becca a light hug then left the kitchen.

"Nice roommate," said Donna.

"I see you have no weapons."

"Really?" laughed Donna. "Is that anyway to talk to your sister? Besides I didn't come here to kill you. If I wanted to kill you, I'd do it someplace else. And I'd certainly not be wearing heels. I hate these things."
