The scales on Nagini felt cool to the touch and smooth as I lightly stroked them. She slithered around wrapping me into a slightly tight hold. I giggled as it felt like a snug hug. "What are you doing? I'm not food." I asked her. "I'm just making sure you stay safe during your father's meeting." She replied as her tongue flicked.

I looked around the old and dark-colored room. It was so boring in the room, I wanted to explore the rest of the place. I wiggled out of her grip and walked around the room looking for something to do. I found an old doll behind the couch and picked it up. I walked back to Nagini with the doll in one hand and a knife in the other.

I sat down and put the doll on the ground and began to cut the doll's hair. Once I was satisfied with the haircut I examined the doll. I puckered my lips as I was deep in thought. Then I decided to cut off the doll's clothes making sure not to cut its fabric skin. Then I plunged the knife into the doll's body where the heart would be and dragged the knife down its stomach making the wound bigger.

The filling began to spill out of the doll. I dumped the filling out of the doll and picked up a handful of the sand. The sand fell from between my fingers. "There's the little monster." A death eater walked into the room and picked me up. "Your father requested your presence." He spoke as he carried me to the meeting room.

Nagini followed us and slithered onto the table. I was placed onto my father's lap, I looked up at him and said hello. He was noticeably weak, he looked down at me and caressed my cheek lightly with his cold clammy hands. "You will be my last Horcrux." I was confused about what he meant until he placed his wand against my neck and mumbled a spell.

I felt a sharp pain in my neck and soon passed out. Once I woke up I was in my makeshift bed and my neck felt sore. I sat up and started to tear up as I walked up to the mirror. On my neck was a scar in the shape of the wand movement for the spell. It was shaped like the letter S. I softly touched it but quickly pulled my hand away as it was a little painful.

I used my hair to hide the scar and wiped away my tears. I couldn't let anyone catch me crying or else I'd be punished. A loud commotion was heard outside my door. It sounded like fighting. I peeked through my door and saw death eaters fighting strangers and other death eaters apparating out of the building.

I quickly closed my door, locked it, and then hid as I held my small knife close to me. I felt my heart pound as I hoped the death eaters would fight off the bad guys. It soon went quiet, I was hopeful the death eaters won so I got out of my hiding spot and peeked through the door. The door was pushed open by someone on the other side. It was a stranger. I quickly ran back to my hiding spot.

"You don't have to be afraid." He spoke.

"We're here to help you." Another spoke.

I saw their feet right in front of me. I used my knife to stab their feet, they jumped back and howled in pain. A spell was mumbled under the man's breath and the woman thanked him. "Accio knife." The man spoke. My knife was yanked out of my hand and levitated towards the man.

"Go away or my father will beat you up!" I yelled.

"Your father is a bad man."

"That's not true!" I yelled back.

"We're here to help you, come on out there's no need to be afraid."

"I'm not afraid."

I angrily got out of my hiding spot to prove them wrong. I stood up and crossed my arms and let out a huff. "My so brave you are." The woman complimented. "Come with us, we're here to help you." The old man said once more. I looked at them with untrusting eyes as I backed away from them. "And what are you guys going to do?" I snarkily replied.

The old man then pointed to my neck. "We can help you get rid of the pain he gave you." I froze, shocked that he knew what had happened the previous day. It would hurt every once in a while, most likely because it was still healing. I was deep in thought and eventually nodded my head as I reluctantly took the woman's hand.

We made it to a strange-looking house surrounded by farmland. I soon learned from their conversation that the old man was named Albus Dumbledore and the woman was named Minerva McGonagall. Dumbledore knocked on the door, and shortly after, the door opened and we were greeted inside. I looked around the house taking in every detail as McGonagall led me inside.

We were seated at their table and the adults began to talk in hushed whispers. I didn't know why they talked like that but it made it harder to eavesdrop. The woman who owned the house looked at me once all the talking was done and brought me into a tight hug. I tried to break from her grasp as I was confused and thinking she was trying to attack me.

I got out of her grasp and hid behind McGonagall. "She tried to attack me." I accused pointing at the woman. The woman looked hurt. "As you can see, you have a lot of work ahead of you." McGonagall said as she stood up. I looked at them confused and followed them. Dumbledore stopped me from following them out of the door.

"Alastor, you live here now. But do not worry, we will see you again soon." He spoke.

"What? No. I want my father!"

"He is a bad man, this is your new family. They will take care of you." McGonagall spoke.

"They're strangers!"

"It's ok, they're good people. You're safe now and you don't have to worry about your father hurting you again." McGonagall added.

I watched them leave with tears in my eyes. My father has never hurt me, he did everything because he loves me. Even if it did hurt, he loves me. I know he does...
