I was on my way to Professor Slughorn's dinner party when I heard crying. I stopped in my tracks and followed the crying. I noticed it sounded a lot like Ginny so I got worried. I entered the girls' restrooms and saw a stall closed. This reminded me of that time in my first year when I found Hermione in the bathroom crying. Although this time there's no troll.

I knocked on the stall door. "Occupied." The voice called out with their voice cracking as they sniffled. "Ginny, it's me Ally. What happened?" I asked resting my hand on the stall door. She opened the door and rubbed her eyes as she forced herself to stop crying. "Dean and I were fighting again." She sniffled. I brought her into a tight hug and stroked her hair doing my best to comfort her. "Aw Ginny I'm so sorry. Relationships are hard, they have ups and downs, fights and compromises, and all that junk. What's important is how you guys handle it together."

"You sound just like mom." She let out a small laugh.

"I guess I do. Now-" I let go of the hug, placing my hands on her shoulders I looked her in the eyes. "We're going to get cleaned up, go to Professor Slughorn's dinner party, have fun, and then after that I'm beating Dean's ass."

"What no you can't do that, honestly the fight was over something stupid." She waved off.

"Ginny, do you even like him like that?" I asked.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean do you fancy him or just like him, like a friend."

"I'm only dating him to get Harry's attention.." She admitted.

"I knew it, you've had a crush on him since you were 10!" I giggled.

I handed her a paper towel to help with her tear-stained face. "Well, you got his attention. And I know what I said about relationships but there's still a point in time where it's ok to break up when all you do is fight." I said as I leaned against the sink as she cleaned her face. "You're right.." She trailed. "I'll do it." She then smiled small as we went to the dinner party.

We walked inside and noticed everyone was already eating. They all had ice cream. "Sorry, we're late. Something important came up." I made a quick excuse. Professor Slughorn welcomed us in and with his hand he motioned us to our seats. Hermione noticed Ginny's eyes and made eye contact with me. I nodded, knowing she was asking if they fought again. We all sat in a circle around the table as everyone ate their ice cream and answered Professor Slughorn's questions about our parents, achievements, etc.

I noticed Harry was stuck on Ginny especially when she first walked through the door. Hermione and I exchanged looks about Harry causing the both of us to quietly giggle to each other.

The next day during breakfast I saw Ron walk into the room. "Oh, Ron's here! I'll be back I'm going to say hello." I said quickly as I stood up from my seat. "I'll be back I love you." I kissed Draco's cheek. "Oh alright. I love you too." He said quickly. Some Slytherins poked fun at him but he quickly shut them down by being his typical defensive self. I went over to the Gryffindor table and sat with Ron and everyone else. "Hey guys, Ron you look good." I joked. "Don't patronize me." He groaned.

"You'll be fine Ron, drink your water you need to be hydrated." Harry said handing Ron his goblet.

"Hello everyone." Luna said as she sat next to Ron.
