Year Four

I was sleeping in my room peacefully until the curtains opened blinding me with bright light. I covered my eyes and hissed in pain. "Oh don't be so dramatic." I heard Hermione say. I sat up and uncovered my eyes and there I saw Hermione in the door frame with a smile on her face. "Hermione, when did you get here?" I asked getting out of bed. "Just now, can you wake up Harry and your brother for me?" She asked. I nodded and got dressed after she had left, closing the door behind her.

I walked down the hallway and opened my brother's door after knocking. I saw both Harry and Ron asleep, I opened the curtains and noticed Harry was having a nightmare. I softly shook him as I called his name to ease him into waking up. He woke up and quickly sat up taking in his surroundings. He was sweating profusely and locked eyes with me. "Are you alright?" I asked worried.

He only shook his head as he wiped the sweat off his forehead. "Nightmare." He spoke. "About Voldemort and a snake?" I asked. He looked at me confused and surprised, as if I had read his mind. "I get them too, sometimes he talks to me. For nightmares, they feel very real." I explained. He nodded his head and agreed as he stumbled out of bed.

Now time to wake up Ron, my favorite time of day. I used my wand and made a spider appear on my hand. I gently placed it on his chest, placed my finger in my mouth, and then shoved my wet finger into his ear. He shrieked as he sat up, noticed the spider on his chest, and shrieked again as he desperately tried to swat it off of him. I laughed so hard I started to cry as he got out of his bed and pushed me out of his room. "Not funny Ally!" He said angry.

Once everyone was ready to go and finished eating breakfast Dad made us leave the house. We all walked through the forest next to the house. "Where are we going?" Ron groaned. He looked like he was still tired, and he was never one for exercise. I picked a small stick and waved it around in the air bored. I looked at the back of Ron's head with a smirk then flung the stick at his head.

Ron turned around and shot me a dirty look. "Knock it off, will you? This hike sucks enough as it is." I laughed to myself and put my hands up to show him I'd stop. We made it to our destination and saw two men waiting. One happily called out for Dad as they embraced each other. Dad soon introduced them to be his coworker and his son, Cedric.

We did some more walking and eventually met up at a port key. We all placed a hand on the old boot and were transported to the Quidditch World Cup. We all got set up and situated in our tent, once everything was set up and ready we went to watch the game. "So exactly how far up are we?" Ron groaned as we all walked up the stairs. "Let's just say if it rains, you'll know first." We heard a snarky voice speak from below.

We looked down a flight and saw Draco and his father Lucious. "Yeah and if there's a tsunami we'll be safe." I retort sticking my tongue out at him. He scowled and took a step forward, I lowered my head closer to them, challenging him. "Father please." Draco said placing his hand on his father's arm. He gained his composure and left with a flip of his hair, Draco lingered for a moment smiling up at me.

I waved and he returned the favor with a small wave. "Draco come here at once!" His father yelled in the distance. Draco ran quickly and we all reached our seats. "I still don't understand why you fancy him." Ron sighed. "Shut up Ron." I groaned annoyed. "He's changing for her, why wouldn't she?" Hermione answered.

After the game was over we all went to our tent to celebrate our team winning. Fred and George were goofing around and dancing the Irish jig as we all watched and laughed. Loud noises were heard outside the tent. "I guess the fireworks are still going." I said. Dad walked outside the tent to see and quickly came back inside. "We need to get out of here right now." He said as he hastily rounded us together. We got outside the tent and everyone was running around in a panic.

People were screaming, and some lying on the floor, it was so crowded it was hard to navigate. I held onto Fred's hand tight and grabbed Hermione. We all weaved through the crowd as best as we could but I eventually got separated. I looked around frantically looking for someone I knew. But no one was in sight. I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned around quickly my smile quickly dropped.

The person was someone I didn't know, they looked scuffed up. "Come with me I can take you to your father." They spoke. Something about this didn't feel right, I took a step back. "I don't know you." I spoke. "I'm a servant for your father, he wants to see you. It's rude to keep him waiting." They spoke taking a step forward. "You're a death eater." I mumbled. I took another step back then spoke again. "Tell Voldemort he's not my father and I want nothing to do with him." I then ran as fast as I could.

I ignored the yelling and ran as fast as my legs could carry me, retracing my steps from earlier today, trying to get to the port key. And then I bumped into somebody, Dad. "Dad!" I said happily and jumped into his arms. He hugged me tight and stroked my hair trying to calm me. "Where did you go? We were looking everywhere for you." He said frantically. "A death eater tried taking me." I said on the verge of tears.

"We'll talk about this more when we're home, you need to get to the port key. Find your brothers and go, they went that way."

He pointed in a direction and shoved me into the crowd before going to fight the death eaters. I ran again and found my brothers, sister, and friends. "Where's Harry?" I said looking around. "We got separated." Ron said. "We need to find him." I said as I grabbed Hermione and Ron's hands. "Fred, George, take Ginny home and tell Dad where we went." I turned around and ran back into the crowd.

We searched for so long that the place became empty, no one was left but us and rubble. Eventually, we found Harry, Harry gripped his forehead in pain and bent over. My neck started to burn as I applied pressure trying my best to make it stop. We looked at the sky and saw the Death Eater mark. "We need to leave." I said in pain. Some people from the Ministry of Magic stopped us but then Dad came in to our rescue.

Harry mentioned a man who ran in a certain direction and described him. It was the exact man who had tried to take me earlier. "That was the man who tried to take me." I added before the ministry ran in the direction to try to capture him. "What happened." Ron asked shocked. "I got separated and tried looking for you guys. Someone grabbed my shoulder, I thought it was one of you but it wasn't. It was the guy Harry saw cast the dark mark into the sky. He said he's a servant of my fathers, that he wanted to see me, and it was rude to keep him waiting." I explained.

"How'd you get away?" Hermione asked.

"I ran into the crowd and ran as fast as I could. Then I ran into Dad who pointed me in your direction."

"You're a brave and smart girl for using the crowd to your advantage."

Dad spoke as he brought me into a hug. Everything felt like it was some nightmare I'd wake up from, but I think that's just the shock and adrenaline talking.

It was a new year at Hogwarts and the new kids were sorted into their houses. Two different schools showed up to ours and joined us in the great hall. Our school was picked to host the tri-wizard tournament. Professor Dumbledore introduced the two new schools and went over the rules and what was going to happen this year. It was all a bunch of information I didn't care for.

"Are you alright Ally?" Draco asked.

I was snapped out of my thoughts and I felt heat slowly make its way to my cheeks from him calling me my nickname. I looked at him and cleared my throat then looked at my plate. "Yeah. Yeah, I'm ok, just still in a bit of shock I suppose." I spoke quietly. "Yeah I understand. Yesterday was scary for me too. I heard you almost got kidnapped, are you sure you're ok?" He asked. "Well I'm here so I'm fine. I'll get over it." I smiled at him.

"Do you mind if I ask what happened?"

"No not at all. A death eater almost kidnapped me to take to Voldemort but I got away in the crowd." I explained.

"I'm glad you're ok."

He smiled softly as he placed his hand on my shoulder.
