Alright, so I had Paintbrush and Lightbulb both use a vacation day from work so that they could get married. I also had Paintbrush make a wedding cake juuuuust in case, because the caterers aren't always reliable, and I've had weddings in the past where I hired a caterer and they just didn't make cake for some reason. I planned to have everyone out of bed by at least 10 A.M. so that they could all be ready by 12 for the wedding beginning, which wasn't difficult because they all woke up on their own before then.
Anas just... came into our house again. At 4 A.M.. No idea who keeps letting him in. He is invited to the wedding, so maybe he just got confused on the time and location?
I've decided that I'm gonna finally try and get Test Tube and Fan engaged sometime soon. Not today, because the focus should be on LB and PB, but hopefully not too long from now.
Once it was 12, the wedding officially began!
Here's Lightbulb in her wedding gown! I did not expect her to wear red, but now that I think about it, she would absolutely go for something non-traditional. She legit looks amazing.
Here's Paintbrush too!
I immediately realized it was probably a bad idea to invite a vampire to an afternoon outdoor wedding, and I started praying he didn't die.
The ceremony began, and for some reason, some of the guests wouldn't sit down to watch, but they all watched anyways, so it didn't matter. Paintbrush and Lightbulb exchanged vows and rings, and then they kissed! They're officially spouse and wife now! :D :D :D
After that, we cut the cake and had drinks. (The caterer did in fact make cake, so we didn't need to use Paintbrush's backup cake.) Test Tube threw up because her drink had plasma in it. It literally had plasma in the name, so don't ask me why she ordered it. The caterer also made french toast. An odd choice for a wedding, but it was very good french toast. Anas came very close to burning to a crisp, but thankfully, he finally found the common sense to run inside. He just hung out in the tiny kitchen for several hours. Poor Anas.
Since we were on a public lot, strangers started showing up that we didn't invite. A celebrity actually appeared at the wedding and began playing violin very poorly. This then attracted more strangers who were fans of her to the lot, and then ANOTHER celebrity showed up, hence more strangers. Then some random child just sat down at one of the tables and started doing her homework. There were several children at the wedding, despite us not inviting any children. It was also one of those children's birthday, so he became a teenager at the wedding. Happy birthday, I guess, Max.
I realized most of the way through the wedding that Penelope didn't show up, despite being invited. Thanks for your friendship, Penelope.
Lightbulb introduced herself to several people, and that ended up finishing the first milestone of her aspiration.
At 10 P.M., the wedding was officially over. We completed all objectives, so the wedding got a gold medal, and we received a paper towel dispenser, a microwave, a tea maker, a pillar, and a flower vase. We didn't have a microwave or a tea maker before the wedding, so that was nice. After going home, everyone went straight to bed, because they were all exhausted. Paintbrush was literally near passing out.
Here's Lightbulb and Paintbrush feeding each other cake (unfortunately, I couldn't get the picture at the right time)
Here's a photo Fan and Test Tube took together just because I thought it was cute:
And here's the random kid doing homework:
So, best Sims wedding I've ever had? Definitely. It was weird, but definitely.
