Day Twenty-Three

Here's pregnant Test Tube, since it was requested:

Paintbrush lost their fame level because they didn't really do anything with their status. At least that quirk is gone.

I had a very brief moment of panic because Test Tube woke up very uncomfortable at 3 A.M. and I thought she was going into labor, but she just had to pee really badly.

I found out we're about two thousand dollars short on bills.

Yeah, I knew this was coming eventually.

So, uh, I got rid of the pool, and then we could afford to pay it. An unfortunate sacrifice, but a necessary one. Thank God.

After I sold some paintings, Paintbrush got their one star fame level back.

Pinky grew an ear on his back, and donated it to someone with anotia. What a chad.

Test Tube made herself a salad, and then it just... disappeared, and she had to eat something else. 

Lightbulb got a call from someone she knew named Alika, and he said his friend heard about her and wanted her number. Either this friend somehow didn't know she was married despite their public debacle of a wedding featuring multiple celebrities (and the fact that she's married TO a one-star ranked celebrity) or he's just a homewrecker. I said no, obviously.

Lightbulb was offered a job as an astronaut, and I absolutely said yes to that. Her career is at level five, and she's making 2592 Simoleons a week, so that's pretty cool.

Unfortunately, after a fulfilling a fifteen-day life, Pinky passed away of old age. I'm genuinely sad. May he rest in peace.

Also, some lady named Saanvi died of old age as well. She wasn't friends with any of them, but I saw her around town a lot. May she rest in peace as well.

Everyone conked out pretty early, except for Fan, who stayed up because he hadn't woken up in the dark hours of the morning like the others and wasn't tired yet. I thought that everything would be fine from then on, and we would just be able to have a nice, relaxing night.

I guess not, because then the baby decided that now was the time to begin expelling themselves from Test Tube's uterus. 

So, Test Tube woke up from her sleep and got ready to go, and Fan put down his microwave pastry and took them both to the hospital. Poor Test Tube peed her pants just after checking in. After that unfortunate accident, a doctor got TT into the delivery room, and then it was go time. 

It looked like this. I do not recall this being the way babies are delivered, but okay, I guess. 

Fan was freaking out, and quite reasonably so, considering not only was he about to be a father, but the doctors just placed his wife in THAT thing.

Then a really weird glitch happened that I unfortunately caught too late to screenshot, but trust me, it was... something. Basically, Test Tube glitched out of the thing, then was lying down midair with no arms and phasing between the doctor's legs, before teleporting back into the thing.

After a late night ordeal of a lot of stress and weird happenings, Test Tube finally had the baby, and it was a girl!!! Since I already have Fantube children (I keep saying I'm gonna draw them and then I forget to), I was able to use that for naming. Her name is Paper Mache Volcano, but that wouldn't fit, so I named her Volkie, since that's a nickname she uses anyway.

After finally getting to meet their daughter, Fan and Test Tube returned home as parents. For some reason, Fan was still doing the panicked run, but he was also feeling flirty due to a combination of the positive moodlet he got from the baby being born and the romantic sentiment with Test Tube, and it looked like this. I'm scared of him now.

They returned home, and I sent everyone back to bed, with Test Tube still very embarrassed over the pants-wetting incident. What an eventful day that was.
