"Good job Y/n. Now teleport the farthest you can." Reeva stated. I've been training for hours. Me and Andy have been separated although I can feel him in the other room. Soon, I hope Reeva will finally tell us our mission.
"Okay." I close my eyes and think of the farthest place I can go....I have no idea where that is so when I open my eyes I'm freezing cold. I close my eyes again in order to get out of there just as quick as I got there. I land back in the compound and I'm shivering completely.
"Y/n...are you alright? Where'd you travel too?"
"First of all I'm cold...second of all Antarctica maybe? I couldn't tell it was just snow but it could've been anywhere with elevation....I wasn't paying attention I was too busy shivering."
"Not bad...elevation means you can go far. Tell me is there anything that stops you from teleporting?"
"No not really."
"You don't need to see it or anything?"
"That's lame. Who needs to see something in order to teleport?"
"You'd be surprised Y/n." Said Reeva.
"I know someone who can do that." Lorna came in.
"Oh really? Who."
"A mutant I saved a while back."
"Such a kind heart you have." I say dramatically.
"Ha! You wish."
"So why are you down here? Shouldn't you be training?"
"Actually I'm here to help you train."
"Oh really? How?"
"I'm going to use some old techniques I used to teach Andy back in the day."
"Alright how does it go?"
"Put this blindfold on and stand right here. Then I'm going to throw things at you and tell you the general direction and you have to make sure they don't hurt you."
"Wow. So creative."
"Hey there's only so much I could've done in a hideout with a box of scraps."
"Alright, alright I'm sorry." I put the blindfold on.
"Oh and no reading my mind Y/n."
"I wasn't going to now I might..."
"Y/nnnnnnn..." Lorna warned.
"Alright...alright."
"Okay ready?"
"Hit me...but not really." I hear Lorna chuckle.
"Okay kid. Right." I hear the object release from her hands and I make the air around it squeeze until I heard the object pop. "You know...that kind of looked like Lauren's powers. Andy's sister."
"So I've heard. Odd isn't it? I meet Andy and I have almost the same powers as him and his sister plus my telepathy and teleportation."
"Yeah. Real odd. Left." The object left Lorna's hand and with precision I sliced it in half with the air around me.
"Hey Y/n you wouldn't happened to have that golden glow they have would you?" Lorna asked. I answered without hesitation to avoid suspicion.
"What glow?"
"Andy hasn't told you? He has this thing with his sister that—-"
"Lorna, Y/n come, we are about to debrief." Sage interrupted us and I couldn't be more happier.
"We'll talk later Lorna but we should go."
"Right." She looked at me for a second and then we went into the meeting room. I see Andy and I rush up to him giving him a hug.
"What's wrong?" He whispered.
"I'll tell you later." I said and I plastered on a smile.
"Alright everyone's here's our goal..." Reeva started and put a projection in the screen. "We need to break out a particular mutant out of the mental institution. She is very vital for our next mission...which will be our biggest one yet."
"Wait? What do you mean mental institution...the projection your showing is where they put mutants..and test on them...sometimes against their will. If we are going for one of them we should let all of them out." I said.
"Fine, but we can't house them all." Reeva said.
"I'm sure we could." I said to Reeva. The tension started growing and Lorna stepped in.
"Look I've stayed in this kind of place before...I know what it's like to be in there...so why don't we just let them free and whatever happens happens."
"But—" I started.
"Y/n, Reeva's right the truth is we can't really save them all." It was Andy who spoke and I looked at him with distrust and glared.
"Fine. Continue." I turned back my attention to Reeva who kept going through the plan. I could tell Andy's eyes were on me but I payed attention to Reeva instead. The mission is: (simply put) we get inside, break the prisoners out as a distraction to get this girl who can help with our next mission. We disperse and get ready. I avoid Andy and go to Lorna's room. I take a guess that she would have the best clothes for this kind of thing. She takes out a bunch of black leather and puts it on the bed.
"Choose your pick kid."
"Got anything other than black?" I say picking up a piece of clothing distastefully.
"I got some green."
"I think that matches you more....got any gold?"
"Gold?" Lorna said with a scoff.
"Yeah......" I said unsure. Lorna chuckled.
"I got some silver."
"Really?"
"Yeah...I might always wear black or green but sometimes I can get crazy."
"Ha! Silver is your idea of crazy."
"Don't judge. You should be glad I have some for you. Here try this out." Lorna takes out a silver corset filled with knifes and gives me some high silver boots, and a long dark gray coat, my pants are also matching the coat. "You want gloves with that?" She asked me.
"Nah...I would take a hair accessory though...that is if your crazy enough to have one." Lorna rolled her eyes and I laughed.
"I got silver glasses...and these big Barrettes."
"Why do you gave those?" I laughed.
"It was a phase." She chuckled. I put everything on in her bathroom and walked out.
"So?" I asked. She looked at me and said one word.
"Badass."
