Genie's POV

The bright sun on my face had woke me up about an hour ago; I just couldn't bring myself to unwrap myself from my safe cocoon and start the day though. Needless to say, a lot of regret filled my mind and my heart this morning.

Even though the tension in my body had all been released and my muscles no longer tightened with each move; it was now all replaced by disappointment in me.

And to think, my life had been so normal just a few days ago.

All I had to worry about was getting passing grades in college and dealing with the everyday pressure from my dad when it came to apply to Law School. It's all down the drain now.

Now I have a lovesick Guardian and a sadistic Boogeyman both pining for my attention and....love maybe? Well, Jack for sure but Pitch, I think he just wants the sex. Which I would be lying if I said the sex wasn't good. As a matter of fact, it was freakin' amazing!

Oh geez, I grabbed the pillow from beneath my head, held it above my face and started to pound it against my face. It was the easiest way for me to 'smack' myself for thinking such a thing. After a few good smacks, I threw the pillow against the wall in frustration.

Back in college, I never worried about attracting any boy's attention. I just wasn't that kind of girl. It was a shock that I even had one boyfriend the entire time I was there....that bastard.

So I'm not sure how to deal with Jack's puppy love or Pitch's lust.

Turning onto my side, I could still feel the remains of last night escapade between my legs. Crap, I really need to take a shower. If only there was a way to erase memories of last night. Not even the fact that I will get three days and nights of sleep make up for it.

My thoughts started to wander a bit. They had fast-forwarded to the end of those days, what would happen? It's simple; he'll come back at full force wanting even more.

I started to feel anxiety build up from my stomach into my chest.

Before I could have a full blown anxiety attack, there was a knock on the door.

"Hold on, I'm coming!" I pushed the covers off my bed and swung my legs over the edge; when I tried to put pressure on them to stand, they gave out on me and I landed on the floor with a loud thud.

"Just my luck." I mumbled from the floor. The knocking continued and I heard a voice yell out.

"Sweetie, you awake?" Oh, that's a female's voice.

"Tooth, is that you?" Had to be, she's the only girl in the Guardians....oh geez, how does she deal with so much testosterone?

"Yes, North sent me to get you since Bunny is a little busy .Are you ok?" The Tooth Fairy let herself in, along with some of her adorable little worker fairies.

I don't think they were expecting to see me on the floor, face down. I could hear the little fairies let out giggles; I don't blame them. I'm pretty sure if I saw someone like this, I would laugh a little too.

She lowered herself down onto the floor to help pull me up.

"Yeah, my legs are still in sleep paralysis mode." She gave me a worrying look. "Oh don't worry, I'm use to it. It happens more times than I'd like to admit." She helped to place me back up on the bed, my legs slowly waking up.

"You poor thing." She's so sweet! She brought a big smile to my face and made my anxiety fade quickly.

"It's all good. So why did North send you to get me?"

"The Man in Moon wants to talk to you." Ok, anxiety is back. The main boss guy wants to talk to me, that's never good. Well, never good to keep them waiting except....
