BYEOL stared at Beomgyu blankly before breaking into fits of laughter. Her eyes showed clear dubiety. Beomgyu looked away seeing how Byeol was taking his issue with Ryan lightly as if it was derisory.

"Have you been doing drugs? Oh boy... What the fuck were you blabbering? Ryan and serial killer. Goodness -" Byeol stopped as Beomgyu got up and went towards the bathroom without sparing her a glance.

"Aren't you going to continue with your story?"

No response.

Byeol felt a little guilty for ridiculing him without listening to what he had to say. Him time travelling was ridiculous enough but making Ryan an infamous serial killer was going a bit too far. Byeol wasn't sure of how she felt about Beomgyu's case. He didn't seem to have an ulterior motive but trusting an innocent face could be dangerous too. She watched the boy storm out of the house as soon as he came out of the bathroom.

"Why is he being sentimental? Is he on his periods - oops... Guys don't get one!"

Byeol sighed and got up. She had no choice left but to follow him. She needed to clear his outlandish ideas of Ryan being the killer. She didn't want to risk breaking the bond she had grown with Beomgyu on a petty matter as his assumption.

Beomgyu had unlocked the door of Byeol's house. Noticing how Byeol was following him, he plopped on the sofa and closed his eyes.

"Gyu what's wrong with you? Why do you keep thinking about the serial murder case?"

"Look Byeol... I know that this sounds absurd but please listen to what I got to say. You need explanation and I have tons of evidences to prove my point. Ryan has a leather case full of knifes. They even have blood stains on them. I have verified them myself. Remember how the announcer said that people were stabbed to death?"

Byeol scratched her head.

"Did you think of the possibilities of the knifes being used for other things? Maybe for slicing raw chicken or something like that?"

"Then why would he leave the blood stains on them? Aren't you making useless and unbelievable possibilities?"

"Must be his preference. We shouldn't judge him without acceptable proofs. These are all baseless assumptions."

"You are taking his side because he's your crush. How would you explain him going out after 1 A.M.? Was he going to butcher a chicken or whatever animal he consumes that late? The crimes are taking place at late in the nights."

"Look here Gyu. Let's look for more evidences to be sure. We can't castigate someone whom we know almost nothing about. Why not distance ourselves from him ? Should we move out from here?"

"Then let's do that. Would it be fine for you?"

"It won't be much of a problem for me. We can't risk staying here for two good reasons and of course, you will be working soon. We would be able to afford a way better place than this. Happy,my child?"

"Child?Do I seem like a baby to you?"

"You are a baby. It's a fact and no one can change that. Now make and have some breakfast.I will look for a good house to move into.Let me go and lock Ryan's house.I am believing you."

Beomgyu smiled brightly as he watched his roommate going. He got up and stretched his hands. He should make some good dishes to change the mood.

"Ouch..."he winced as he felt a sharp pain rising around his chest. He sat down on the sofa again feeling qualmish. He had no idea why he was debilitated.

" Oh my god... Gyu!What's wrong with you? Are you feeling unwell?" Byeol cried as soon as she noticed the vulnerable boy entering the room.

"I... I feel so weak suddenly."he stammered which was almost inaudible.

Byeol was panicking. She had practically no experience about how to deal with such abnormalities. She never fell sick since she was vaccinated against all diseases when she was an infant.

"I... I..n-need to puke..."

"Holy shit -" shrieked Byeol as she watched Beomgyu throw up as soon as he declared it. She looked away after watching her beloved rug getting a good treatment from her roommate for barely five seconds. She was in no position to complain since Beomgyu had no fault and she didn't treat him properly when he was feeling sick.

She turned around after hearing a squall from the guy.

"Why is blood coming out along with my vomit?"
