BRINGING Beomgyu back to her house didn't proof to be a rash and foolish decision. The boy was a quick learner. He got surprisingly accustomed to the new technology within a fortnight. His emotions were back in a couple of days. No one could understand what its root cause was.

Byeol was running out of money. She had almost no savings. Everything costed a lot and she had lost her job. Looking for a well paying part time job was hard. Beomgyu was an almost unwanted addition to her spending list. She had to get him some spare clothes and the food items had to be increased.

How was he going to go back to his time? There was no answer to that bizzare question.

Byeol rolled over her bed on a Sunday noon. Beomgyu was being nice by lending his hands to help her with the house chores. Her never ending quest for earning money was eating her up. She was always at her room searching for a temporary well paying position. The job market was extremely stuffy.

Even though the world population was under control for some decades , the chances of making money was low. Restaurants depended on girls and boys with pretty faces. Almost all the other workplaces were  programmed to serve the customers with complete accuracy. Sophisticated families went for computers to tutor their children.

Students like her had parents to rely upon. It was not like she didn't have any but both of them worked for the government and she wasn't sure how long had it been since she saw them. They never came to visit her or pay her expenses.

"You are old enough to find a path for yourself , Byeol. Don't expect us to pay for your stuffs all our lives. You can figure it out yourself."

The memory of her mother's blurred face suddenly hit her. She didn't even remember how she looked. Time surely flies away quickly. Her 18 year lost old self is now much organised 21 years old. When did things started to change this drastically?

It amused her now how she had taken her bright future and giving parents as granted. Just a few sentences from her mother made the cards she had carefully placed to built her dreams had tumble down. The mixed feelings of disbelief and hopelessness were still not replaced.
