BYEOL almost shrieked when she woke up in the dawn. She found her head resting on Beomgyu's right arm. She twisted nervously, having no idea about why she was sleeping with the boy all tangled up inside the white floral blanket. She could not decide what to do. It would be cruel to snatch away his desired sleep. Her insomniac self knew how important it was to get some rest. Having no choice, she closed her eyes forcefully. Thankfully no was there in their compartment and they were dressed properly.
Hearing the ruffling sounds of the blanket, she realised Beomgyu was awake. She wanted to scream her heart out in embarrassment when she felt a pair of eyes staring at her. She chose to risk it and open her eyes too.
And they were staring at each other. Both of their faces were a mess of crimson shades. She gulped as the warm breath of the boy hit her face. Abruptly shifting and sitting up, she coughed loudly.
"How did we end up here?"
"You fell asleep yesterday on the beach after the dance so I had to pick you up and put you on bed. I guess I fell asleep too while doing that. I apologise for invading your privacy. Don't worry, we didn't do anything inappropriate." Beomgyu scratched his head as a guilty grin took over his lips.
"Ah... I need to go brush my teeth." Byeol practically ran away from the room not daring to show her blushing face to the latter again.
Beomgyu chuckled as he rolled over on the soft duvet. He had managed to catch a glimpse of her morning face. It was not everyday he would find a flustered Byeol. Sometimes, the sassy and feisty girl was quite likeable.
He got up after a few minutes and stretched his legs and hands. It would be fun to tease the girl for the rest of the day.
At the breakfast table, Ryan broke the news of them going out for a raid after they are done with eating. They were running low on almost everything and needed to go a little far that time.
"Aren't we going to the hospital? The government must be providing some basic safety. I don't think it would be beneficial for us to stay here." declared Bomi.
