BEOMGYU wasn't even sure how much terrified he was after seeing the knives. He felt his hands and feet go numb at the sight of the dried dark crimson liquid adorning its edges. What was its use to Ryan? The knives looked way different from the ones he had seen both in 2020 and 2121. The brown wooden handles had intricate carvings on them and were a little bigger to the ones used usually.
He couldn't sleep a wink and had tossed and turned until it was six. His head throbbed and he gagged every minute since his brain seemed to flashback the sight he detested.
He made sure to put the case back to its original place. Unfortunately the jagged edges had gashed his pinky when he was examining one unused knife. He had winced in pain but couldn't afford to make a noise since it would bring trouble. Cleaning the knife spotlessly, he had went back to his temporary bed with a confused mind trying to understand everything.
What added more fuel to the fire of his suspicion was Ryan coming out from his room noiselessly. He was tiptoeing and glancing towards their sleeping positions to make sure that they weren't awake. Beomgyu eyed his movements carefully while being under the blanket pretending to be asleep. The hunk as expected went towards the table and picked up his leather case to take out the unused knife.
Was Ryan some runaway criminal? He felt nauseous. What if he actually was one and they were getting involved into his unethical business? Never in his life, he felt this anxious. Ryan's clothing style had changed too. He was in a black hoodie with a grey jeans.
Ryan was looking at the knife with a blank expression as he pulled it out and let the moonlight fall on it. He looked around again after a few seconds and closed the case. Putting the sharp object beneath his leather jacket,he stepped out of his house. His hood was hiding his face since he put in on.
Beomgyu was thinking about it as he was brushing his teeth with Byeol infront of the I - Displayer. Ryan was nowhere in sight and Byeol said that he was out for working on his exhibition. The I - Displayer was giving news flashes. The I-Displayer was the new trend of 2121. It displayed things infront of people without a screen and the air acted as its medium. No remotes were needed. Just some hand gestures could control it.
