Jess's POV
"Hey did you hear that new girl from leadership is throwing a party?" Stacy flipped out her phone and showed me some messages between a shit ton of people talking about how Lia is throwing a party...
"Shut up Stacy... She's obviously throwing this party because I said she couldn't" I roll my eyes as we walk down the hall of our school.
"And it's obvious she's doing this so she can get with Tom" Stacy nods her head agreeing with me. We walk to my locker and Stacy opens it handing me my books.
"What does Tom even see in her? She's not even pretty..." Stacy closes my locker and I shove my books back in her arms.
"Well-" I eye Stacy
"Don't you DARE! Say she's prettier than me" I narrow my eyes at her as she closed her mouth and pressed her lips in a line looking away from me. I scoff at her.
"Whatever. We've gotta think of a plan to get rid of her... And this party she's planning is the perfect time to do it" I cross my arms as I walk trying to think of a plan to get Lia away from Tom.
"I don't get why no one else sees how me and Tom are perfect or each other" I throw my hands in the air as I talk.
"Hello...?" Stacy shot her eyes to me now fully listening to me.
"Do you not think me and Tom are perfect together?" I ask her
"No yeah you guys are perfect," she said quietly, I roll my eyes as we continue to walk.
"See I know! Why doesn't he see that..." I whined.
"How can Lia just swoop in and steal my spot in the leadership committee chair" I huff out, she's really starting to piss me off... Like who does she think she is joining leadership out of the blue and 'stealing' everyone 'hearts' with her 'amazing' ideas...
"Um, Jess? Leadership is an extra credit class..." Stacy pointed out. I don't even know why I hang out with Stacy.
"Oh my god, Stacy shut up! You know what I mean GOD!" I shout at her.
"Sorry" she mumbled, we stop in front of our class.
And if just on time Tom walks past us. I flip my hair off my shoulder a wave to him. He half-smiled and walked past me.
I groan in frustration. He used to always come up to me and smother me with kisses. Now this girl comes and ruins it. By this time Tom would have been mine again...
I storm into class Stacy right behind my tail. I take a seat at my desk and turn to Stacy.
"When's the party?" I ask, Stacy pulls her phone out scrolling and checking various text messages.
"Tomorrow" I smile
"Perfect! We're going" I smirk and clap my hand together excited as the gears in my brain start turning!
"But I thought you didn't like Lia? Why are we going?" Stacy asked confused. My face went from happy to annoyed faster than my heartbeat. I throw my face in the palms of my hands and let a loud sigh.
"We are going to execute a plan to get rid of Lia keep up Stacy..." I look at her, she nods her head frantically
"Right sorry" I roll my eyes and look away from Stacy's face.
I look to the front of the class to see a group of football boys walk in. I watch them intently as they walk and sit at the desks in front of me. I hear them talking which spiked my interest so I lean forward to hear why they were saying.
