"MUM WHERE'S MY CAP?" I yelled rummaging through dirty piles of clothes on the floor. Looking everywhere around my room for my blue graduation cap. I was going to be late if I didn't find this stupid hat.
"I have it come on!" My mum yelled back from downstairs. I immediately run out of my room grabbing my gown off the couch and heading to the car.
"Jeez what took you so long?" Bee asked as I buckled myself in.
"I thought I lost my cap" my mum laughed and started the car and we headed for school. When we got there my mum insisted on taking a million pictures of me and me in my gown and all that stuff. After she got all her pictures she told us she was going to find a seat before it was too late.
"Ok bye" I waved to her and she waved back blowing kisses. Bee and I stood by this big tree and I looked over at the big stage. Bee pulled me out of my thoughts.
"So?" I turn my head to look at her.
"So what?"
"We haven't talked about what happened in the bathroom..." I shrug my shoulders playing with my hair. Bee sighed and stood beside me.
"Have you told him?" I shook my head.
"Lia you're officially a couple of weeks pregnant you promised you were going to tell him..." I placed my face in my hands.
"I know, I've been too scared ok I'm fucking pregnant that's not something you tell your boyfriend nonchalantly"
"I get that but the more you wait the worse it's gonna be to tell him" I throw my head back bumping my head against the tree.
"I just didn't wanna ruin today for him ya know it's a lot..." She nodded and wrapped an arm around me.
"Maybe don't think about too much today okay, today's about you, You're graduating!" I gave Bee a weak smile.
"*ALL STUDENTS PLEASE REPORT TO THE GYMNASIUM*!" I let out a big sigh.
"Guess that's my cue" I start walking away.
"I'll see you up there good luck" Bee smiled and went to go find my mum. I slowly walked into the gym and waited for someone to direct me where to go.
"Hey, sunshine" I turn around and see Tom. I haven't seen Tom since the night of the ball. Mostly because we were so busy with school and because a part of me was trying to avoid him.
"Hi" I whispered. I feel butterflies flutter around in my stomach.
"Nervous?" He asked giving me a big smile. Tucking some hair behind my ears.
"Yeah" I nodded gulping down the big lump in my throat.
"You okay? We haven't really talked since..."
"I'm fine just been busy and stuff" he nodded. I was so nervous around him right now I felt like I was about to burst out crying. I wipe my hands down my dress multiple times as they were so sweaty.
"*STUDENTS WITH THE LAST NAME STARTING WITH A TO G LINE UP HERE*" I bit my lip and turned to leave.
"I'll see you up there" I smiled at him and he instantly returned it, kissing my cheek making me blush before walking away. Making my guilt only build up with the passing hours.
I line up in front of some other students. Before I left the gym I look over my shoulder and see Tom chatting with Jess. Surprisingly it doesn't bother me as much as it used to. I trust Tom so I ignored it. The person in front of me starts moving and I quickly follow behind them and head out of the room.
