This day was special. I was about to set out on a journey to become a doctor. At least, that's what I had planned.

I was about to leave this town for a long time. I couldn't leave anything unfinished.

In the living room, I noticed my sister pouting. "So I'm finally getting rid of you?", she was looking for a reaction. "Unfortunately for you", I let out the slightest smile.

"Why is that?", she was standing in front of the mirror, brushing her hair. "I asked Blossom to watch over you while I'm gone", I looked through one of our bookshelves.

"Blossom?!", she rolled her eyes, and began whining. "She's even worse than you", she snickers, and everything went quiet after that.

She couldn't stop looking at me through the mirror. I kept shooting glances at her myself, after all, it was unknown the last time we could see each other.

"Why can't I live with you in the capital?", she broke the silence. I stared empty into the bookshelf before responding, looking at her.

"It's too dangerous", she stared blankly at me, "I don't mind".

"Yeah, that's exactly why", I smiled again, she stuck her tongue out and made an ugly face. Continuing to brush her hair, she stopped talking to me.

"I'll visit", I pressed my lips together. She didn't reply, she kept going. And so did I.

----

Yuna had left the house, refusing to help me pack. I guess that was her way of prolonging my stay, I couldn't help myself. I caught myself in the mirror, as I finished packing.

Someone knocked on the door. I clapped my hands off any dirt and dust, and opened the door.

Before me was an elderly woman, she was shaking. "Oh thank goodness, you haven't left yet", her voice was shaking even more than her body.

"What's wrong?", I adjusted my glasses, I stared into her eyes that wandered to look behind her.

A fire.

"Your sister", she spat out. I immediately looked back at her, "She-", before she could finish her sentence, I ran past her.

"Kai!", she shouted my name, "It might be too late, please!"

... ... ...

I found myself trapped, in a burning building. I ran in without a thought in my mind, everything went blank. I was on a mission, a mission I believed I was going to fail.

Or so I thought.
