"Why don't you just try and leave?"

Bucky lay on his bed staring at the ceiling while everyone in the compound was sound asleep. It had nearly been a year since he'd moved into the Avengers compound. At first, it was hard to live with seven or eight people, one AI robot and a sticky kid. But he'd grown to warm up they all, but he was still working on warming up with Sam Wilson.

And it was no secret that Bucky had warmed up the member in the Avengers compound, he even had a soft spot for the Spider- Kid, but while everything was now perfect in his life, there was still one thing that ached at his mind-

"Sorry to interrupt, but Mr Stark has requested everyone's presents in the conference room urgently."

"What does he want?" Bucky groaned questioned, lifting his head from his pillow.

"He said it's urgent."

A groan leaves Bucky's mouth again before he sighed. He got out of his bed, didn't get out of his pyjamas,

When he arrived in the conference room Tony was pacing back on forth talking to someone on the phone. "What's up with him?" Natasha questioned, pointing to the distressed man.

"Bad news." Tony declared as he placed his phone back on the table, "The kids missing." He quickly added to his first sentence.

"Peter? Are you sure he's not gone out drinking or doing drugs? He is a teenager after all." Sam replied, receiving a glare from most of the people in the room

"Peters not that type of kid." Tony defended, slouching back in his chair.

"Why are you so worked up about this Tony? I know he's like a son to you, but what are you not telling us?" Bruse questioned, and Tony sighed.

"The tracker in his suit was disconnected. I have no idea where he is." He admitted, putting his face in his hands,

"Where was he last seen?" Bucky finally spoke up,

"I don't know," Tony replied,

"Well, that's where we start," Bucky answered, "He was most likely on patrol, so start there."

"Why would you care so much about the kid, Barnes? I thought you don't like kids?" Sam asked, looking at the brunette man

"I have my reasons." Bucky paused, looking coldly at the other man, who offered Bucky a cold look back. "And who said I didn't like kids?" Bucky coldly questioned,

"Okay, let's just try and find Peter." Steve stopped his two friends before they started another argument. When did he go missing?" Steve asked,

Nikita woke up abruptly to the sound of her radio going off, glancing over to the dresser in her room. Perter was still curled up, but he seemed to be asleep,

"Barnes, you're wanted in Mr Pierce's office."

Before the brunette left the room, she looked over at the boy. Something in her head made her walk over to the curled up boy. Crouching down and hit his shoulder, rough enough to wake him but not severely hurt him, he flinched looking at her.
