Y/N's POV

We walked in an ocean of silence before I smelled the odor of the dead bodies and coughed.

"Are you serious? C'mon it's not even that bad!" She giggles and pouts at me, I smile weakly before pinching my nose.

"Can we just get to the wine section faster and get the hell out of here? Please." The smell was overwhelming, she takes my hand and chuckles, speeding up and dragging me along.

'Damnit.'

I sigh but I guess it was better than anything. She comes to a sudden stop and I almost trip over.

"Here we are, bloodbag." We both snicker at the nickname and I analyze the bottles.

"Sanguis Virginis." I mutter to myself, even though it was loud enough for the brunette to hear.

"Maiden's blood, and it's wine mixed with...you can already guess." I sigh and grab a bottle with both hands since I didn't want to break it. I turn to her and nod, signaling for us to get out of here.

"You really hate it down here, don't you?" She giggles teasingly and I roll my eyes while smirking.

"I like you already, you are not as bad as I thought." I laugh and we both get out of there. Already out of that hell hole, I thank her for her company and she dismisses into flies. Still carrying the heavy wine bottle in my hands, I make my way upstairs to the Lady's room and knock on it.

"Come in." Says a smooth voice from the other side. I turn the doorknob and go in as requested, I walk up to the counter and set the wine bottle on it. Lady Dimitrescu raises a single eyebrow and stares deep into my soul, I shiver and excuse myself.

"Wait, I didn't dismiss you yet. Be a kind one and pour some wine for me, will you?" I sigh in annoyance and grab the wine bottle, opening it and tilting it slightly to pour the wine in her cup. I bring the wine-blood filled cup to her and she thanks me.

"So, do you need anything else or am I dismissed now?" She looks at me surprised, and aggressively sets her cup down, spilling some liquid. She walks up to me and her yellow feline eyes pierce even deeper into my soul. I gulp and my lower lip quivers. She smirks and goes to grab the cup to take a sip of the wine and then comes back to me. The Lady kneels down at my height and smirks teasingly, she puts her hands on my shoulder and leans into my ear whispering, "Don't be nervous, May I?" My breathing hitches and I nod slowly.

She now leans in tilting her head, I do the same and her lips meet mine. The kiss is surprisingly soft and gentle, I put my hand on her cheek and caress it. She pulls away after a while, leaving me flustered. Her eyes widen at the realization of what just happened.

"I...I am sorry for-" I put my index finger on my mouth shushing her and smile sheepishly.

"It's ok...I enjoyed it." Her eyes widen but she returns the smile. Lady Dimitrescu walks back to the armchair where the cup was.

"You're dismissed." I bow, walking to the door.

"Thank you, M'lady."

"Call me Alcina when it's just the both of us." She tells me and I nod, walking out of her room. I decide to walk out to the courtyard to take some fresh air and process what the hell just happened. I slowly open the doors to the courtyard and the cool air hits me. I close the door and sit down on the bench.

I walked with the brunette to fetch the wine, then I went to the Lady's room and poured some wine for her, she then asked for permission to kiss me, which I agreed, then she apologized for the behaviour, but I said it was ok, then we smiled at each other and she told me to call her Alcina in private.

My cheeks were tinted with a light shade of red when I recalled the kiss event; Her lips were as soft as the snow, it tasted like wine and grapes, it was perfect. I giggle softly at the thought and I place two fingers against my lips noticing some lipstick had been smeared. I wipe it off quickly and almost start to daydream, but remembered that I had tasks to complete. I get up and walk back in the castle, taking the folded note and looking through it.

Lady Dimitrescu's POV

I lay back down on my armchair. Why did I kiss her? She told me she was fine with it and she enjoyed it, but I still have doubts...
I touch my cheek where her hand caressed me and smile softly at the memory, maybe I did fall a little too hard? I will have a talk with her tonight, although...Mother Miranda, what will happen If she finds out? Jesus christ, I need a smoke and probably write my thoughts down on my diary...
