"Wow. I can't believe this."
"Well, you need to, since it is in front of you."
"No, I mean, I've never received anything even close to a letter, forget about a love letter."
"So, what are you going to do now?"
"I don't know Niall, maybe I'll try to find out who it is. Wait a minute, is there anyone named princess in our school?"
"As far as I know, there isn't and if the person has given you a letter anonymously, why would they add their name?" Niall replies.
"Yea, you're right Niall, you spoke some sense for the first time."
"Hey, I'm the most sensible one out of all of us," Niall snaps.
No he isn't. He once asked Zayn if eyebrows are considered as facial hair and Zayn answered with 'depends.'
"Anyway," Louis continues, "We have to find out who it is and I leave the job up to you, since you're an expert at this."
"Um... I mean... I'll try but I can't promise you anything."
"I'll consider that a promise, thanks. See you later Nialler, my sisters are waiting," Louis says and leaves, waving him a goodbye and hears him mumbling stuff from a distance which Louis can only make out as 'I never even promised' and 'stupid Louis' but he really doesn't care as long as he can get his work done.

Louis is sitting on the dining table with his family, waiting for dinner to be served and after a long time, he is excited to have dinner. He is fucking excited to have dinner, something that he does everyday. He has an excuse though, he just got a handwritten poem for him, almost anything he does today (and probably for the next few days as well) will be ten times more exciting for him. It's not like he couldn't find a girl, he just couldn't find the right one, which he believes, he has found now.
Louis will definitely not tell Niall about the butterflies he had in his stomach when he read the letter. He doesn't even know who wrote it, but he has started liking her already. He would definitely date princess but for that, he needs to know who it is.
"Louis, you're literally blushing, new girlfriend?" Lottie asks him.
"I'm not, and mind your own business Lotts."
"Don't get mad at her, she's your sister. And besides, you're actually blushing a bit," Jay says giving Louis a smile.
"Mum! Et tu, Brute?" Louis says jokingly.
There is a round of laughter at the table. Dishes are being passed, stories being told. In this moment, Louis realizes how blessed he is. He has a perfect family, the best friends anyone could ever ask for, and a secret lover who he already likes back for the cherry on top.
Later that night, Louis lies on his bed and reads the letter again. 'I love to see you on the football field', hmm... so it's someone who watches Louis play. But literally the entire school comes to his matches so this point will definitely not help. Maybe he should stop being all Sherlock and go sleep.
Although he doesn't know who wrote the poem for him, one thing is for sure. Louis has never felt so loved in his life before. This is exactly what he has always been waiting for, the little things in life, and love, the old school way. Something that is pure, tangible, and more than just sex. Louis has finally found someone who loves him for being who he is.

It's the day after the match. Louis gets dressed for school and goes downstairs where he finds his morning tea and eggs already made.
