Blair POV.
•••

"Dude" I say into the phone.

   "I am a woman."

"Why didn't you tell me your cousin  goes to the same college as me?" I have no idea why I wasn't told this key information. Going to school with your whatever he was to me's brother? Definitely something worth telling.

"I have a lot of cousins, can you be more specific?" Emma laughs on the other line. Her words are mumbled due to the food she currently eating.

"Jake." I hear her nearly choke on her food.

"Jake goes to your school?" She asks surprised. Ok... maybe she didn't know.

   "So you didn't know?"

"Ummm, clearly. I would of definitely told you if I did. I'm not close with him at all, so I don't really talk to him. Or about him."

I laugh at that, of course she would tell me if she knew. "Makes sense" I say.

"Did you see him?"

"Saw him, talked to him, hung out with him and his friends." Kissed him...

But let's not add that part quite yet. She does not need to know I kissed her cousin. Her other one.

"No way." I hear her start to shuffle around. "Well, tell me all the details." Yea, no.

"Well I saw him at his frat party, Noah introduced us again, he didn't like me. Then Natalie is now talking to his friend, so we went to a bar with him. He still didn't like me, but we talked a little and he was nice. But in conclusion, he still doesn't like me. Thinks of it as breaking some code talking to me. As if I was his brother's ex, which I'm definitely not. He is quite good looking though." That's right Blair, feed the bait out a little. Test the forbidden waters. See what she has to say about you finding him interesting. Maybe she will think it's good.

"No" Or not. "Blair he's bad news."

"I'm not interested at all Em, don't worry. But why?" I grab an apple and take a quick look at my pants. Just making sure they weren't on fire.

"The Heart boys are all bad news. Players, well except for Drew. You know how much Grayson lead you on though, Blair. He is a major player."

"I know that," I roll my eyes and take a bite of my apple.

"Yea, well Jake is worse. Everyone has to learn from someone. And Grayson definitely learned it from Jake."

"Men," I groan. "Hate them, but love them."

"Amen to that." She laughed. And that's was the end to our conversation about Jake. We spend the next half hour talking and catching up about everything else. Emma and I always have a lot to talk about, due to the fact we don't talk a lot. She's busy with her life, and I'm busy with mine. But we make sure to call each other at least once every couple of weeks.

We are still talking when I hear the door bell. "Hold on Em, someone's here." I get out of bed and walk to the door. It's most likely Natalie, we don't get a lot of visitors at our apartment. I'm guessing she just forgot her key.

   "Jake?" I say in shock.

"Wait, Jakes there?" I hear Emma ask.

"I'm going to have to call you back, Emma." I say still confused.

"Emma? Like my cousin Emma?" I give him a nod before saying bye into the phone. "I forgot you guys were friends."

"Yea, so why are you here?"
