All the widows immediately stopped the chatter after hearing the tip tap of heels along the cold metal hallway. All the widows stood still not even daring to blink. My hands were so brusied from yesterday. "Good morning, widows." said Ms Petrov scanning the room. "Yelena and y/n, I want to see you."
y/n pov This was bad. Were we going to get killed? What if it was something about Natasha? We did not see her at lunch yesterday. I was quite worried. Yelena and I followed Ms Petrov silently, glancing at each other every few moments. Ms Petrov stopped at a metal door. Almost everything in this place was metal. Ms Petrov tapped her card on the door and a green light started scanning her. Then the door opened, "Both of you, come in." The room was very quiet and filled with bright lights. There were lots of doctors. Suddenly, we heard screams from a room on the right side. Ms Petrov glared at a doctor and the doctor immediately went into the room. Then, the screaming stopped. "Don't worry about that." said Ms Petrov giving us a smile. Ms Petrov brought us to a separate room and sat us down at a table.
"Your sister..."she began I glanced at yelena nervously. "She has escaped" said Ms Petrov
"Escaped?" Yelena asked
"Yes." Ms Petrov said "We don't know where she went and we thought you guys might know. Has she told you about her escape?"
"No...We didn't know." Yelena said
I thought about Nat's behaviour the past few days. She kept looking back at the kitchen during lunch for some reason. Maybe that was a clue. I decided it was best not to tell Ms Petrov about it incase ms Petrov would keep talking to us about nat's escape.
"Well then, you can go back to your station." Ms Petrov said getting up. Yelena and I nodded and followed Ms Petrov out. Ms Petrov went to another room and it was just Yelena and me.
"So Natasha escaped without us." I said. "So selfish." said Yelena sighing. "I know." I replied "You heard the screams didn't you?" I asked. Yelena nodded.
"Then why aren't you saying anything about it?"
"What am I supposed to say? I'm so pissed off right now."
"I get it Yelena but those screams..."
"The red room is definitely hiding something." I said "Obviously. Come on, everything is made of metal and why do you think they rip out your reproductive organs."
"They said that the red room was supposed to help us teens defend ourselves but that seems too unlikely. There's something else. What if they're controlling our mind or something."I replied
"Should we try to find out?" I asked. "Maybe..." Yelena replied. Well this ought to be exciting.
