Everyone gathered in the great hall for their first feast of the year. Dumbledore slowly got up out of his chair and tapped his glass. The whole room fell silent as the wise professor began his speech.
'Welcome to another year at Hogwarts,' he proclaimed with a kind twinkle in his eye, 'but before we can begin the sorting ceremony, I have to address the issue that happened on the train today.'
The hall erupted with murmurs of what happened on the train and all eyes went to Bella. The girl who saved them all. Bella smiled and looked around to all the approving glances she was getting.
'I was informed of the situation and how death eaters and dementors both were on the Hogwarts express today. I have spoke with the ministry and I can assure you this won't happen again. However, i have to thank someone on behalf of the whole school. Someone who demonstrated diligence, wit, confidence, selflessness and bravery.
Bella Whisps,' he exclaimed, turning his head to her, as everyone in the school followed.
All eyes were on her as Dumbledore praised her. 'It was her who fought the death eaters off the train. It was her who saved students from having their souls sucked out of their bodies. Bella, because of you, everyone in this hall owes you their life. I will reward 200 points for Ravenclaw for your brave act.'
Ravenclaw's table roared with applause and cheering as they all hugged Bella. All of the other houses joined in applause, except for one person. Bella glanced over at the Slytherin table and everyone was standing up, clapping except for the blonde bully. He was slouched over his chair and rolling his eyes in annoyance.

After the sorting ceremony and their gigantic feast, everyone headed back to their common rooms. Bella was having an enjoyable conversation with Harper and Cho when she spotted Blaise Zabini from the corner of eye and blushed.
'Bellll,' Cho smirked as she noticed Bella looking at the Slytherin.
'You should go talk to him!' Cho exclaimed.
'You know what, I will.' She answered confidently.
Bella ran over to Blaise and she immediately caught his eye, he smiled as he walked up to her as well. 'Bella, you really deserved all the praise you got today, you were really brave.'
'Um, can we talk in private please?' she asked nervously.
'Sure, um let's go to the history classroom, its unlocked.'
When they went in Bella took and deep breath, 'Look, Blaise, I.. I.. I'm just going to say it. I really like you. I'm just drawn to you, i love your smile, your laugh and your personality and...'
Before she knew it, Blaise lifted her chin up and kissed her so passionately their lips entangled with one another as he lifted her leg up and pulled her closer. They were kissing for so long, Bell almost ran out of breath. She pulled away slowly, with a smile on her face, her tummy were filled with butterflies. She looked up at Blaise.
'I really like you too, Bella Whisps,' he said, 'I want to take you out on a date, on the weekend in Hogsmeade.'
They made their plans and it was all settled. Bella left the history classroom still in disbelief on what happened. That was her first kiss and it was amazing.

She was on her way to her common room when a voice stopped her.
'Scored a date with my best friend, I see, it's just a way to get closer to me.'
She turned around in annoyance, her night ruined. She could recognize that voice from anywhere. 'Shut up Malfoy. That is no-where near the reason I have a date with Blaise, not like it's any of your business anyway.'
'You know Whisps, you never deserve anything, you're just like Potter, everything is handed to you on a silver platter, you have no idea what hard work or pain is. You're a filthy little halfblood. You might as well be a mudblood because of the stupid man your father is.' He said, looking her dead in the eye. He knew right after he said that, he had gone too far.
'Don't you dare talk about my family. You know nothing about me Malfoy, and I don't deserve to be spoken to like that, especially after I saved your life. ' Bella scoffed, 'I just don't get why you are so mean to everyone you meet, before getting to know them!'
Bella was losing it as her fists clenched, 'I have tried since our first year at Hogwarts to try to get to know you, but all you give me are brutal remarks and mean comments! You know when the dementor was sucking your soul out, everyone was too scared to do anything. You know who leapt infront of you, saving your life and beating the crap out of the dementor was? Me. I really hope you feel good about yourself. '
Tears filled her eyes as she ran away to her common room.

As she closed the door once she entered the common room, Bella could see everyone in their own little groups chatting among themselves. She went upstairs and went into the room on the right where the girls' rooms were. Cho was already fast asleep and Harper was in bed reading.
As soon as Harper saw the state that Bella was in she shut her book immediately an rushed up to her. 'Aww, Bell tell me what happened,' she whispered gently, as she wiped her tears off with her jacket sleeve.
They headed to Bell's bed and talked the whole night. By morning the whole box of tissues was empty. But Bella was feeling much better. Harper was truly a great friend. They talked it out and Harper gave some helpful advice.
But one thing was for sure, Bella wasn't looking forward to tomorrow.
