Chapter 12 - A New Beginning

The two lovers were sprawled on the grass near Hagrid's hut on the weekends. Laughing and talking together. Draco then sat up pulling Bella up with him. 'Bella, I want to show you something.' He said.

He opened his mouth to speak again but his expression changed, filled with worry and doubt. 'I'm sorry, I can't do this.' He got up from the grounds and headed back to the school.

'Draco, wait,' Bella pleaded, 'Stop.'

But he had left already.

'Bella?'

She turned around, surprised that Harry Hermione and Ron were all there, with uncertain looks on their faces.

'So you and Draco?' Ron asked with a scowl on his face. Bella nodded, not sure of their reactions.

'Bella, what did he do to you?' Harry shouted angrily. 'He did something to you didn't he. He put you under a trance or something.'

'There's no way you would date that scumbag of a Slytherin.' Hermione protested.

'I.. no, I'm not under a trance or anything, can you guys please stop!' Bella shouted.

'He clearly doesn't feel the same way then,' Harry remarked.

Suddenly Draco appeared infront of Bella with the most furious expression smothered on his face. 'Get away from her,' He snarled.

'Malfoy, we all know you did something to her. Just admit it.' Hermione shot back.

'Get away you filthy little mudblood, i did nothing of the sort.'

'ALRIGHT STOP!!' Bella shouted making a soundproof bubble around all 5 of them, due to a small crowd gathering around them to hear the argument.

'Bella, I didn't know you could do that,' Hermione said, impressed.

Bella ignored her comment, 'I really like Draco okay? He is sweet, caring and understanding and you guys have to live with that. I haven't changed at all, I'm still Bella, I'm still your friend.'

'Bella, we trust you, I promise. We just don't trust him..' Ron said.

Draco was trying to hide his smile as he was shocked at what Bella said about him. No-one had ever done that before. He thought. She was my everything, my world, my witty, strong independent Ravenclaw.

'C'mon Bell, let's go,' he whispered in her ear.

'Bella, I'm sorry, I've never been this vulnerable before and i hate it.' He confessed when they were back in the room of requirement. 'I've never opened up to anyone.'

Bella stroked through Draco's platinum blonde hair, 'It's ok, I get it. You're not ready and i respect that.'

'Bell, I am ready, because i want to tell you something. You see, my life wasn't rainbows and sunshine. My dad constantly wanted for me to live up to the Malfoy name. Constantly being pressured by everyone. I didn't have friends Bella. Not real ones anyway. I'm always jealous of Potter, him always succeeding, getting everything he ever wants. Everything i desire to have.'

He paused for a second looking into Bella's ocean eyes, 'Bella I don't have enough happy memories to conjure a Patronus. I couldn't. I wasn't happy enough. But it changed after i met you, you made my life light up like it never did before. Because now, because of you I can conjure one.'

He took his wand out, 'Expecto Patronum,' suddenly, a Newbling Cat came running out. Bella gasped, 'Draco.. that's the same animal i have.'

Draco nodded, 'My snake turned into a cat because i truly love you Bella.'

He cupped his hand on Bella's cheek and kissed her passionately, his tongue entered Bella's mouth as she closed her eyes enjoying the feeling. Bella smirked as he pushed Draco onto the ground getting on top of him, her legs around Draco's. She traced Draco's jawline down to his neck, leaving it with soft kisses.

Draco knew what she wanted and gave her a satisfied grin. He got on top of her and started unbuttoning her shirt.

BELLA'S POV

As he was unbuttoning my shirt, I was undoing his, revealing his toned abs. I ripped his shirt off and ran my fingers across his smooth back, then i grinded my thighs against his, making him moan, 'Stop teasing you,' Draco laughed. I could feel him getting hard in his pants.

He unclipped by bra with ease, making me wonder whether he's done this before. He threw my bra aside leaving us both half-naked. He looked down at my breasts and smirked. 'You're beautiful, my love.' I blushed intensely as he kissed me down from my neck, clasping both of my breast and squeezing them gently. He bit my nipple gently as i arched my back with pleasure. He kissed all the way down to my waist where my skirt was. He looked up at me, waiting for permission.

I nodded with a small smile.

DRACO'S POV

'Was... was that your first time?' Bella said, as she stared lovingly into my eyes.

I nodded, giving her a small smile. 'Stay the night with me Bell.'

'That sounds good,' Bella said.

I realised both of them were still naked, so I grabbed one of my old hoodies and one of my shorts and gave it to her.

'Thanks' Bella said smiling. She put her bra and underwear back on and then the hoodie. It was so huge. I chuckled as he saw her, she looked so cute. My little princess.

The room of requirement turned itself into an on suite as she ran over and jumped playfully on the soft bed before lying down next to me. She looked at me, 'Have I ever told how beautiful your eyes are.' she amused.

I smirked to myself, butterflies filled my stomach.

'Goodnight,' she whispered, snuggling against my chest. She soon fell asleep. I chuckled at the sound of her soft breaths. 'My Bella.' I whispered.

I would do anything to keep her safe. Anything.
