Kitsune

Prologue:

First time writing- heh

On that fateful day, the 31st of August, the 4th lord and his lovely wife, Revena, were stepping into a long anticipated parenthood. But a man, who longed for the one he loved, controlled the kitsune to unwillingly attack the village. Many lives were lost but none is as important as the death of Adonis and Revena. They died after sealing the kitsune into their newborn baby, and jumped in front of the claw that was coming for their newborn baby's life, like any parent will do for their baby. 

The kitsune has just come to his senses. The kitsune might not be the kindest, but he still feels guilt and grief over what he did to the villagers and this kid's parents. He knew how excited and thrilled the new parents were. They were now overwhelmed with grief. He looked at the kid with sadness and guilt. The kid seemed to sense his distress and did nothing but smile and place her tiny and warm baby hand on his claw. The kitsune then gets sealed into the kid.

The third lord, Gale Sabrino, arrived at the scene a but too late and witnessed who he thought of as a son die in front of him. He rushed over the scene hoping he could at least save one of them. Revena was pointing to the bundle on the altar saying her last word:

"Valerie, d-don't be p-picky about your food. Eat a-lot s-so y-you can grow b-big t-to pro-protect t-the one y-you l-love. D-don't s-stay u-up l-late, y-you n-need to s-sleep a-alot. Make f-friends. I-I'm not t-the one t-to talk, b-but d-do your b-best in s-school and m-maho. R-respect your t-teacher a-and s-seniors at your a-academy. So drink a-any a-alcohol u-until your t-twenty. I-it okay i-if y-your in-interested in men, j-just d-don't go a-after a b-bad one. Find s-someone like your f-father. B-believe in y-your d-dreams... I-I love y-you. ," she coughed as a tear escaped her eye, "s-sorry f-for ma-making y-you a b-burden. Adonis, g-gomen, I s-spoke to l-long." tears flow down her face as she tries to smile.

"Valerie, my a-advice as your f-father, is e-everything your c-chatty m-mother just said. H-have a good g-good life." Adonis forced a smile as he coughed. Adonis then tried to get into his serious face and face Gale. "H-her name will be Irukaka Val-Valerie, k-keep her h-heritage and identity a s-secret u-unless she f-found o-out........"
