Nashi, 5 years old

Lucy considered enrolling Nashi in a non-wizard school, timely that she remembered that her ancestor Anna is teaching class in a nearby village. Anna's class has the basic educational curriculum of english, math and science classes. As soon as Levy learned about Lucy's plan she wanted to have Emma go with those classes.

Natsu was pretty sold with that idea, he trusts that Anna is a good teacher for Nashi. Gajeel agrees with that as well, they now remember the times that they were students of Ms. Anna.

So far all of the parents were good with that idea. The kids are now 5 years old and were really interested to tag along with the job requests, but their parents were still cautious for their safety and wanted the kids to learn academically first.

Monday morning in the train station

Natsu carries Nashi on his shoulders as the family walk towards the station. "You ready to learn, Nashi?"

"I'm excited to see miss Anna! it's been a while," Nashi replies. "Well, are you ready to learn?" Lucy repeats Natsu's question.

"Well, uhm I guess I am!" Nashi says convincingly.

As soon as they arrive at the station, they meet up with all the other kids, Emma is with Levy for Gajeel is called in the council for a job request, Rose is with Erza for Jellal had to go to the mission to which master personally asked him to handle and Greige is with Juvia and Gray.

"About time Natsu, our client is waiting!" Gray and Natsu, along with Happy is to catch their meeting with a client who asked the two of them specifically.

"Are you both sure you can handle this on your own?" asked Erza.

"Of course!" Natsu and Gray both answered and salute to the air.

"Bye-bye papa! bye-bye Happy" Nashi waved goodbye to the duo as the train go off. Nashi is still young to be affected by the motion sickness, on the other hand Emma has the same script magic as Levy that is why the kids have fun in the quick trip.

Everyone grab hold of their mother's hand as their walk in the small village where Anna Heartfillia lives and teaches.

"Anna! We brought kids that needs your patience," Lucy approached Anna with a hug, and Nashi run towards them and joined the group hug. "Oh I've missed you two!"

The kids went to miss Anna's classroom along with the other kids. Nashi was more than excited to make friends than to actually learn in class.

Anna welcomed the ladies to her place and offered them tea and coffee, she left them knowing that they can treat the house as their own. Shen she went on to start her daily class, started by welcoming the four new students.

Meanwhile in Anna's house, Lucy and Juvia started baking, while Levy and Erza peal some fruits for snacks.

"Nashi, take your seat now," Anna gently asked the little dragon slayer, "Aye, miss Anna!" she sat beside Emma and Emma immediately shared a book with her friend.

Minutes later the class has a seatwork to accomplish, each of them were asked to finish basic math questions. Emma finished hers quickly, Rose and Greige took time in answering, strategically counting through their fingers.

Nashi on the other hand kept on bugging Emma for help, so Emma over and over explained to Nashi how to add and subtract. Nashi is actually good in reading and writing, just not particularly fond in solving math.

"Emma, please come over here for a while, Nashi has to finish that on her own," Miss Anna lead all the finished students to the mini library on her classroom, it has tables with crayons and papers.

Rose was next to finish the questionnaire and happily joined Emma in making arts.

"Greige, what's the answer?" Nashi whispered to her friend who was almost finish, Nashi's paper was still half empty.

"Shh, Miss Anna will hear you, just think that those numbers represent jewels," Greige said and continue to solve for the remaining questions in his paper.

Jewels, huh. I got this! She remember all the time that she and Happy go out to buy ice cream and they counted just enough jewels to pay the vendor.

She then happily continued to solve on her own, "Look at you, you're a better student than Natsu," says Anna as she approach Nashi's seat.

"I'm all done!" Nashi said finishing first before Greige. Anna looked at her paper and immediately regret what she said earlier, "Oh Nashi, just like your father."

Nashi was confused with what miss Anna said but shrugged it off. She ran towards the others to create art works too.

After the class, the kids joined their mothers at miss Anna's house and enjoyed all the snacks prepared.

Miss Anna showed the results of their schoolwork that day. Emma as expected did well, Rose and Greige are both excellent in math while Nashi failed math.

Lucy just laughed at Nashi's attempt to do math, she mentally reminded herself to teach Nashi about counting jewels next time.

"Mama, look what I made in class!" Nashi pulled a piece of paper and showed it to Lucy, ever since Nashi was best to express her emotions and creativity in paper.

It was a drawing to three girls, two with long blonde hair and one in the middle with bright pink hair.
