The fifth clock chime woke us both up. Jimmy sat up in bed, and rubbed his eyes. I looked up at him. “Oh my God, you’re really pale! Can I get you anything?” He scooted over to me. “ No, just, nervous.” I rubbed my eyes and looked up at him. “You’ll be fine.” Our lips met each other, and I felt calmer. Our feet walked down the cold hallway, and into the bathroom. Jimmy flicked on the lights, and I couldn’t open my eyes. Finally, I opened my eyes, and looked in the mirror. A laugh escaped my mouth when I saw my bedhead. Jimmy looked over at me. “What?” I turned and looked at him, and pointed at my hair. “Major bedhead.” There was a silence in the bathroom, and then he laughed. We both brushed our hair and teeth together. Hand in hand, we walked back to his room, and got dressed. “Wear something comfortable. The plane ride is going to be long.” I spun around and glared at him. “Plane?! I've never been on a plane!” My heart began racing again. He kneeled down, and hugged me. “Calm down. I’ll be with you, and so will the boys.” I exhaled. “Ok. So, when do we leave?” I looked down at him. “When we finish getting ready, and when the horses are taken care of.” He kissed my cheek. The horses. This will be the last day that I will see them for a while. I threw on some jeans, and a shirt, and walked outside with Jimmy.
When we entered the barn, we were greeted by neighs. I got a little teared up when I heard them, they reminded me of Lily. The sweet grain smell filled my nose, and the hay felt normal against my hands. The horses were eating, and I was standing in the middle of the aisle with Jimmy. I looked down at my boots, and a tear fell on them. My heart led me to the horse. My hand jerked forward onto Hope’s face. “I’m gonna miss you baby.” She picked up her head, and brought her muzzle to my lips. I walked over to Achilles. “Hey man, take care of Hope ok?” He looked me in the eyes. His dark brown eyes were set in my mind. He promised me. They would be fine.

I was carrying my suitcase, and the Telecaster. Jimmy was carrying his suitcase, and his Les Paul. I looked at the cart behind us at the airport, ful of Jimmy’s guitars in their own cases. We stopped in the lobby, and we saw the rest of the group. “Hey Meredith!” I looked over Jimmy’s shoulder. “Hey Jonesy.” My voice was quiet, and weak. The nervousness came back again. I looked around the band, and saw more carts with drums, bassesm and keyboards on them. “Led Zeppelin. Your plane is here.” A voice from the speaker said from above. There were whoops, and we all walked towards a door leading outside. Jimmy twisted the knob, and outside, there was this humungous plane. My eyes grew at the size of it. “Holy-” I looked over at the boys. “You like it?” Robert said while throwing off his jacket. “It’s gigantic.” I looked back over at Jimmy. As we got closer to the plane, we saw many photographers. As we reached the plane, Jonesey yelled out. “Group photo!” And with that, everyone, except me, ran to the plane and posed. “C’mon babe!” Jimmy said looking at me. “Nah, it’s a Led Zeppelin photo. Led Zeppelin only.” I looked at him, and I nodded my head. He nodded his, and they posed for a picture. I laughed as Robert stuck out his arms, and Jimmy looked at the camera. As they came back, I looked at Jimmy. “Good job looking at the camera.” I said . “Thanks.” He said back, and kissed me on the cheek. “Save it for the tour you two!” Bonzo said behind us. The tour. Yup, it was happening. I was touring, with Led Zeppelin.
