BILLIE'S POV:
I finally drive up to our house, the sun somehow went down within a ten minute period- weird... but, i just want to go inside and rest.
I walk tiredly through the door and see Skylar sleeping on the couch- smiling to myself, I walk closer to her, I then stop in my tracks. What I didn't notice was her talking in her sleep.
"Don't go, don't go...please... I need you"
I immediately sit down in front of Skylar, shaking her shoulder. She finally gasps and wakes up, "Billie?" "Yeah, it's me" I answered quietly, "What's wrong?" Skylar's confused look on her face probably means that she doesn't even know herself. She looks at me, "I don't know... I guess I had a bad dream... why? What did I say in my sleep?" I sigh, "You said stuff like 'Don't go, please don't' then you said that you needed them... Were you dreaming of your parents?" "I don't know..." Skylar simply says, I look at Skylar's clenched hands under her head, "Was it about me?" Just when I say that, Skylar's expression changes, "Maybe..." I kiss Skylar's face, my hands on both sides of her pale cheeks, "Skylar, I'm always going to be here for you-- always, don't forget that, ok?" She nods her head, "I miss you" I smile, "I miss you too babe."
Billie picks up Skylar bridal style and carries her upstairs to their bedroom, he lays her down on the bed and takes off her shoes and pants. He lays down on the bed in front of Skylar, pulling the blanket over them, holding her close, he sings quietly to her until she falls asleep, him doing the same after a few minutes...
