BILLIE'S POV:
Yes, I've been waiting what seems like a long time for this... performing with my guys! Skylar got my prescriptions for my insomnia and they kind of work! I've actually been in the studio recording for a new album, we're thinking about naming it "Warning"-- I don't know, that line Trè said: 'Sanitation, expiration, they question everything, or shut up and be a victim of authority'... it stuck in my head, a lot. Looking back at our music from a few years ago, I've realized that they were filled with anger, hate and resentment; in my opinion, not that much meaning because of the hate trying to prove we are punk. But, I'm a husband and father now, I need to reflect on my past and look forward to the future-- while still having fun of course...
°LATER IN THE DAY° ~·BACKSTAGE·~
Billie tunes his guitar, his favorite guitar pick in the neck of the guitar, Skylar is in the other room with the twins.
"You ready man?" Mike asks smiling, "Hell yeah" "Cool. Let's get Trè" "I'm already here, don't bitch" Trè says walking up to the guys, "Alright, let's do this!" Billie says grabbing his guitar, he turns his head and sees Skylar standing near the tables, "Hold on a second" he says to the guys halfway across the room, Billie walks up to Skylar and passionately kisses her-- his tradition he does before performing on stage. "Some time today Armstrong!" Mike yells out, Billie laughs and kisses Skylar's face, "I love you" "I love you too, knock 'em dead!" Billie smiles and walks with the guys on stage.
"Why, hello there!" Billie yells on stage, "Can I get a 'Hey, oh!'" The crowd yells back, "Alright, we're Green Day, and welcome to our tour!" The crowd screams excitedly, "First song of the night is 'She'"!
The music starts, "This goes out to my wonderful wife, Skylar..."
