Author's point of view

As Jong Hoon was doing his work, someone knocked on the door and it was Sol. She went in and they talked about the case.

"Gyosunim, here are the points I wrote." She showed him the document she wrote and read it aloud.

'Has she always been this pretty? She used to be my student but I don't remember her being this pretty

'Has she always been this pretty? She used to be my student but I don't remember her being this pretty.'

"Gyosunim, what do you think?"
That was when Jong Hoon woke up from his thoughts and he realized what he has just thought of. 'This is wrong, Yang Jong Hoon.'

"Ah...e-eo?"

"About the points I wrote."

"Rewrite them all. It doesn't sound that convincing. It seems like you didn't learn anything from me."
He didn't even know what she just said but those words came out from his mouth.

"Aish, I almost didn't sleep all night to write all these." She sighed.

"If you're going to whine, don't do it here in my office." He said coldly. That was his defense mechanism. He hated the fact that she made his heart flutter. So she rewrote some parts. After nearly several minutes, she got up. "Kang Sol A." Jong Hoon said awkwardly, trying to look away from her. "There's blood." When she realized what he had just said, she was embarrassed.

"Omo, I didn't bring pads. Eotteoke?!" It was evident in Sol's voice that she was nervous and embarrassed at the same time. He sighed and looked away from her. He got up and reached his phone to call Prof Kim.

"Yeoboseyo?"

"I need your help."

"Yang-gyosu, I'm in the middle of a class."

So he hung up.

"Eotteoke?" Sol was almost crying. She was already 33 years old. But as a woman, this was one of her biggest fears. She took her coat off and was about to tie it to her waist.

"Here." He gave her his own coat. "If you use your own coat, you'll freeze outside."

"But, Gyosunim, what about you?"

"I'll be okay."

"Gomapseumnida, Yang-gyusunim." She said and tied his coat to her waist.

"You don't have to thank me. I don't really need my coat so you may use it." He explained. But deep inside, he meant it, he just didn't want to make it obvious.

"Wait here for a while." He said and left.

Jong Hoon's point of view

I left the school a bit and went to a convenience store. I bought pads for Sol. Good thing, there was no one at the convenience store except the cashier or else I'd be really embarrassed. "Is this for your girlfriend, Yang-gyosu?" The cashier asked me. I always bought stuff here so she knew me. I shook my head firmly.

Sol's point of view

Gyosunim came back. "Here." He gave me pads.

"Gyosunim, gomapseumnida. You don't have to. "

He didn't say anything and tried to avoid my eyes. Then I noticed he was freezing. "Gyosunim, you're freezing---"

"I have work to do. You may leave now." So I left to wear the pads in the restroom. But come to think of it, what Yang-gyosunim had done, he said he'll be okay, but he was freezing. He keeps acting like someone who is cold and tough, when he's not deep inside.

"Yeppeuda, yeppeuda, yeppeuda." He thought while remembering how Sol was discussing to him the points she wrote.

"Appa, you're smiling!" Jong Hyun, his nephew, chimed in.

"I was?"

"Ne, appa. You even said 'yeppeuda' three times."

'This can't go on any longer.' He thought and drank beer. He never understood when his mom said that he should never love the wrong person or he'll get hurt. But now, he understands.

"Kang Sol, what have you done to me?" He said out loud.

Meanwhile, Sol couldn't sleep.

Her former professor was stuck on her head. She remembered him giving her his coat, him giving her the pads. Then she realized she was blushing.

"Ya, Kang Sol!"

"Unnie, be quiet, please."

"Kang Sol, why are you thinking of him while blushing?!"

"You must have a crush on whoever that guy is, Unnie."

"Me? I have a crush on him? Crush my foot. Eo! I was touched with what he has done but a crush? No way! He's always cold and mean!"

"Be quiet, unnie!"
