Before they reached camp, Delphi wasn't sure if they were going to make it. When the twins had picked her and Dylan up, they had each gotten on back of one of the two horses, each behind one of the brothers. She felt tired after the long day, and apparently the horses felt the same. They seemed to be making a great speed, the landscape running below them, but the boys, who introduced themselves as Connor and Travis, seemed puzzled. Apparently the horses were supposed to go into some sort of hyper-speed (which Delphi found kinda weird, but hey, it had been a pretty weird day) , but they simply seemed exhausted.
"They were hyped up little horsies earlier!" One whined (Delphi honestly couldn't tell them apart). The other just shrugged, and looked off in the horizon. "The trip might take a couple more hours then."
This got Delphi's attention. She asked, "So where exactly is this school?" Connor (she hoped) just snorted, and said, "School? Honey, this is camp. Camp half-blood. For special kids like us." Without even turning away from her, he simultaneously fist bumped Travis. Travis added, "it's on Road Island." Delphi couldn't believe that these horses, well, pegasi, could fly all the way from Road Island, to Idaho AND back. She continued asking questions, as they explained the Mist, and Chiron, and the different Cabins and Gods. They explained that they were both children of Hermes. This was cool, but she especially asked about the Apollo cabin. That just had to be her dad. She had never known anything about him, and her mom never spoke of him; She only said he was charming, and that she missed him.
After talking for so long, and with her head crowded with information, Delphi decided to to take a nap. Connor told her that they still had around two hours until they reached camp, so she put her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes. It seemed awkward, but as soon as her head touched his shoulder, he yawned as well and didn't seem to mind. The sun was setting, and they passed over rolling hillsides. She smiled at the craziness her life had become, wondered what lay ahead of her when she woke, then let her mind slip into a liquidy emptiness.

When Delphi awoke, they had reached camp. Below them was a large valley surrounded by a wide forest. There was long fields glowing with red strawberries, and a large ring of cabins. There was also a large building separate from the others, and a large Amphitheater. Slowly, the pegasi decended over the camp, and a few other campers began to gather around them. They all wore matching orange shirts. They came down slowly, and finally landed out in an open area of field near a volleyball court.the second they hit ground, Conner and Travis jumped off as landed on their feet.
Delphi slipped off her pegasus, as did Dylan. He had been pretty quiet on the ride to camp. Delphi assumed that he felt guilty. He had been lying to her after all. Many of the other campers, who Delphi assumed were all demigods too, gathered around and greeter the brothers, as well as her and Dylan. A few smocked at Dylan, and said something about his pants. We was still wearing his jeans, which didn't look any different than anyone else's. Then, suddenly he blushed and began taking his pants off. Delphi began turning away, ashamed of her friend for coming to their dumb peer pressure so easily, when out of the corner of her eye she noticed something. Brown fur. She looked back at him to see two goat legs just under his waist. He also kicked off his shoes to reveal hooves.
Her jaw dropped as he let out a relieved Bah! Her friend was a goat. A freaking goat. He turned to her, as if reading her mind, and said, "Its actually called a saytr." She simply grabbed her forehead and questioned her sanity. When she realized that people where staring, she removed her hand and looked up. She couldn't look weak, especially when most of them had some sort of knife or sword on them. A few parted as a guy came through the crowd. She recognized him as the boy she had seen in the "iris message" with Dylan. He gave her a side smile and shook her hand. "Hi." He said, "I'm Will Solace. Let's get you to the big house."
