The big-eared man licked his lips and held out his left hand.

"A cigarette, love?"

The smell of the smoke seemed to bring at least partial sense back to her and she finally managed to step back and away from him. The feet that she had left bare because she had no other shoes apart from higheels and wished to remain silent while sneaking through the manor, stepped onto a small pointy rock and she almost cried out in surprise.

It seemed to amuse the man.

The sudden pain also helped to get another part of her common sense back to her. One that recalled the first time Fenrir Greyback had seen her and the way Draco had stood in front of her.

"No cigarette?"

Astrid really needed Draco right that moment.

The man tossed his cigarette over his shoulder and into the room carelessly and took a step forward as she took some backward until he had backed her into the wall. Out of sheer instinct, she tried to slap him, but he caught her hand.

"Oh, love, let's not make this difficult."

Her hand slipped from his and he gripped at the wall behind her, her chest rising and falling irregularity. She thought she might throw up.

"Draco."

The man furrowed his brows and his ears seemed to ride up a little at the motion.

"DRACO!"

Astrid didn't all that much care anymore if she would get caught and dragged back to her room. Anything would be better than the man with the rotten teeth in front of her. She could feel his breath on her face and it only intensified her want to throw up.

"DRACOOO-"

Her voice got interrupted by his hand roughly taking hold of her jaw, squishing her cheeks together so she couldn't speak. The chance Malfoy had heard her was slim - she had no clue which side of the house he would even be in, but she had walked the majority of the second floor and prayed he would be in one of the rooms nearby.

"Now, now, little girl, what would we need the boy here for?"

A door opened somewhere and she would've turned to look if only there wasn't a hand squeezing her cheeks. She didn't want to cry but she could feel the tip of her nose beginning to itch.

"What do-" a voice began to say annoyed but cut themselves off.

The hand dropped from her face and Astrid was allowed to turn and look and see Draco stood there. The lad's features turned into a deadly glare in the span of just a few milliseconds and before she even had time to breathe a sigh of relief, a wand was in his hand and firmly pointed at the disgusting being that was the man towering over her.

"Let her go or I'll blow your fucking head off!"

"Oi," the man tried to snicker as he straightened out to fully face the younger boy. Astrid tried to slip away while he wasn't watching but he grabbed her by the collar of her blouse. "As if-"

Draco wasted no time. "Let her go," he walked right up to the man and jabbed his wand hard against his neck with anger she had never seen Draco showcase before, "and don't you ever lay any of your filthy fingers on her again, you path-"

"Like I'm scared of children," he cut him off and never lessened his hold on Astrid. "I think you should have a cigarette too, mate, to let off a bit of steam."

Draco ignored him and continued with his point. "Not only will my father hear about this but so will hers and you would not want to experience his wrath, Sal-"
