It was the middle of Wednesday, and the hotel corridor was empty when they set her plan in motion. Draco stood carefully glancing one way and the other from the doorway of the room he had rented polyjuiced as some random man whose hair Ninomae and he had snatched. She too had used polyjuice for when they entered the hotel, but now, leaning back on the single bed in the room, Ninomae was fully back to her usual form. He was as well. Though unlike her, a magical mask depicting a tiger floated in front of his face, hiding it. Initially, they had considered he should wear the deatheater mask but they had quickly concluded that could raise unnecessary suspicions. His Dark Mark was hidden too.

When Draco was completely sure there was absolutely nobody in sight, he opened the hotel room door wider and motioned with his head for her to go. Ninomae stood up, smoothed down her clothes and then slipped her feet into the heeled boots she had leisurely taken off as they had waited for the polyjuice potion to wear off. Now, she walked out into the corridor in front of him and he followed.

They walked just 10 feet to their left and soon she was softly knocking on another door.

"Who's that?" A voice called back and although Draco had watched the man walk into the hotel himself, he couldn't help but smirk at the thought that he was still there.

Daft arsehole.

Ninomae cleared her throat before leaning forward and drumming her finger softly down the door. She heightened her voice and did her best impersonation of what a seductive tone would sound like.

"Housekeeping," she said.

The door unlocked, and Draco couldn't believe it worked. As if it had been anything close to convincing. Though he didn't complain.

Ninomae pushed the door open and Draco twirled his wand, feeling its weight in his hand. Careful to keep his steps in sync with hers, he followed her inside.

In the days they had been planning it, Draco had kept telling her that it wouldn't work. That nobody was that stupid. Ninomae had snickered and said that, for a man, he knew very little of his kind. And she had turned out to be right. Because Frederick had done all of what they had told him to. All it had taken was a letter.

The idiot sat in a chair he had placed in the middle of the room, eyes closed and, thank the Lords, still fully dressed. He was expecting to be meeting up with his mistress where they would further indulge themselves in a long night of roleplay among... other things. 'Housekeeping' was the word the woman had promised would inform him it was safe to let her in. And he had stupidly listened to her every word. The prick had bought champagne, rented a hotel room in the middle of the day and failed to recognise that the letter from his sidechick asking all that from him had been very much forged.

"Hello, dear," Ninomae drawled, her voice more mocking now and Draco turned around to close and lock the door.

Frederick's eyes snapped open, realising it wasn't the voice he was expecting, and his eyes widened to the size of coins when he saw who it was he had actually invited into his room. Before he could move, Ninomae cast a spell to stick all his limbs to the chair. As she did that, Draco hastily summoned the man's wand and put it aside. He too, like Ninomae, was wearing gloves, so as to not leave any fingerprints.

The stunned man looked at Draco and his eyes narrowed, very possibly trying to figure out who was behind that mask. No matter how much the idiot squinted, he wouldn't be able to tell. Draco knew his initial idea of keeping his contract with Ninomae a secret would be a good idea. Not many would suspect them actually working together. Though... It wouldn't matter much by dinnertime that night anymore anyway...

"What is happening?" Frederick asked and turned his head to look at Ninomae again. "Let me go!"

Ninomae tsked and then smiled, twirling her wand in her hand. She turned around for a second, making the movement look seamless, yet with her eyes motioned at the windows letting bright daylight into the room. Draco rolled his eyes for he had momentarily forgotten and whispered the spell to shut all the drapes. Most things were still visible in the room, but now it was much darker.
