Around five o'clock that evening Robin called letting Regina and snow know to meet him and Charming at Granny's for dinner. Apparently Robin ran in for coffe and a hot chocolate for Roland and ran into David, deciding they'd just call and request they're ladies join them.
Regina gave Snow and little Neal a ride down the street to grannies, both excited to begin planning what was super to be the event of the season.
Once inside Robin gave Regina a questioning look, silently asking if Snow knew, only to receive a single nod in response.Robin let out a breath no one knew he was holding. He'd accidentally let it slip to David that he had proposed, not knowing if Snow would know or still be clueless.
"I've asked a very excited Ruby to look after an equally excited Roland while we discuss details. I thought you might wanna tell the boys together tonight." Robin said as he stood to meet his fiancé. Regina gave him a quick peck on the lips before sliding into the booth across from the Charming's.
"Great minds do think alike." Regina said as he slid in close to her on the booth.
"Maybe it's a Soul Mate thing, like a super power almost." Robin said looking from Regina to the Charming's, only to be met with surprised faces.
"They um, didn't know about the soul mate thing did they..." Robin whispered as he leaned in towards Regina.
"I hadn't exactly found the time to tell them.... It's not exactly ever quiet around here." Regina whispered back, then straightening back before finally directing her attention to the many questions ahead.
"I know what you're thinking. Yes we're soul mates. How do I know? Tink, many years ago, long story. I'll tell that one another time. But I'd like to get on with the wedding details if at all possible." Regina stated plain as day, setting Snow and David back into reality.
"Ok let's get started. So let's start with the date. Any day particularly special for the two of you?"
Regina looked at Robin, the two smiled, already knowing exactly what the other had in mind.
"Well," Robin began, " it's not far from now but it's one of our favorite memories. Our first kiss will be a year ago in two weeks, to the date. That'll be a Saturday, we'd like to do it then."
Regina smiled, recalling how courageous she was that night, and what that sudden courage brought her to. Thank god for that night.
"That's sweet!" Snow was more giddy than a child in christmas morning. "Ok, that's enough time, I think I can get Tink and the Fairies to help with preparations considering the time frame. Ok next, theme and/or colors?"
"This is Regina's part of the wedding. I want what ever she does, after all she's had to go through to get here she should get to do the decorations." Robin stated causing Regina to stare up at him with slight tears in her eyes. She smiled looking back at Snow.
"I'd like to do Navy Blue and Gold, there was this dress back in the Forest, it was a beautiful blue velvet with jewels across the back, it's always been one of my favorites even after we dropped the 'E' word."
"Oh that'll be lovely!" Snow said. "What about Flowers?"
"White Roses!" The couple said in unison.
"Oh of course. Duh, stupid question. Who do you want as the bridal party?"
"Well," Robin began, " I plan on asking Henry to be my Best Man. I'd like him to feel as included as possible, and but like I'm stealing his mother. Then David, if you'd agree to that, Little John, and Killian." Robin finished turning to Regina to make sure that they would be acceptable.
"Thank you." Regina said, knowing it was about Henry.
"Of course." Robin said with that smirk that made her fall more I love each time.
"And you Regina?" Snow asked, snapping the two back to reality.
"Well we know you're to be my maid of honor, then I believe I'd like Tink since she set this all in motion all those years ago, Emma for doing her best to help all of us find our happy endings, and finally Belle, she's always done all she can to help us, no matter what our past looked like. I'd like to show her I'm sorry for all I ever did to her, and that I'm willing to forgive and forget if she is."
"Ok, now are you two writing your own vows?"
"Yes, defiantly. I won't need someone to tell me how I feel, that's one thing I can do." Robin said before regina had the chance to answer, lucky the same thought. Maybe Robin was right about the Soul Mate superpower.
"Ok so regina we just need a guest list, I can do that, I mean the whole town will be there anyways and then...."
"I doubt that many people would come dear, you do remember who I used to be right?" Regina cut in.
"And don't you remember who you've become? Don't think we're the only ones who've noticed." Snow stated.
"Now as I was saying, we'll go dress shopping on Friday with the other bridesmaids while all the grooms side go get there tuxes fitted, get all that knocked out at once. This gives you guys tomorrow to relax before we get busy. We can finish preparations like food-""Dear I'll handle the food, don't you worry!" Granny yelled from behind the counter, having been listening the whole time.
"Thank you Granny, we appreciate that." Regina said.
"Anything for your day." granny said with a wink then leaving the couples to the rest of their conversations.
"Ok we'll get Cake designs and flavors on Friday to send to Granny, and anything else that needs to be finalized." Snow finally finished.
"Well I guess that means tomorrow we can tell the boys, I'm sure we can find something special to do." Regina said towards Robin.
"Well, David, Snow, of you don't mind I think we're going to head and get Roland from upstairs and Henry from Emma." Robin stated, standing and taking Regina's hand in his own as he helped her from the booth.
"Goodnight you two, see you both Friday morning at about 10?" Regina asked before they headed upstairs.
"Of course, bye you two. Oh and Regina, I want to hear all about this soul mate story Friday!" Snow yelled after the couple already half way to the stairs.
