"Would you like to eat with us? I believe we were going to have lasagna." Regina was the first to speak. Robin just stood there staring at her, amazed at her beauty as if he'd never seen her before.
"I um, still need to pick up Roland from John, so I'm sorry M'lady but I cannot. Would it be alright if I drop by later... Maybe when we can speak alone? I know Roland's been dying to see 'his Gina' for quite some time now." God how he didn't want to leave, he just wanted to continue what they'd started with that kiss... But John had had Roland for too long now.
"Of course... I'll see if Henry will stay, he's missed his little friend." And with that Robin leaned down once more, pressing his lips to hers. She pulled him as close as she could, never wanting to let go. Eventually he pulled back, "Until later, my love." And like that he was gone, with Regina left to look after him till he was out of eyesight.
----------------------------------------------
Regina was in her kitchen finishing dishes when she heard his knock. Snow and the rest of her family had stayed several hours eating, telling stories to Henry and Emma of the Enchanted Forest, eventually ending the night with Henry asleep against his mothers chest, Emma and the others beginning to nod off themselves. Regina led them out leaving Henry to his dreams on the couch. That's when she led herself to cleaning, the only thing she could think to do waiting on Robin to show at her doorstep.
She heard the knock again. She ran as fast as she could to the door without waking her son. Opening the door there was Robin with little Roland in his arms fast asleep.
She whispers "Here, give me little Roland, if you'll grab Henry off the couch we can take them up to Henry's room for the night." Robin nodded passing Roland's sleeping form to Regina who grinned from ear to ear.
Once the boys were in their room for the evening, Robin and Regina headed back down stairs to the living room for a much needed talk."Robin... Are you sure you want to do this? I mean there's still time for you to change your mind..... I spent almost half my life ruining the lives of others. Once I found Henry, it didn't end. I continued to be this Evil woman who did what ever it took to make him happy, though it only pushed him away. After my first curse broke, Henry pushed me away more than ever, but we eventually got passed it all, becoming closer than ever. I promised him I would change, become good, and ruining your marriage.... that doesn't exactly fit under 'no ruining of lives'. I don't want to be seen as that woman again after I was just beginning to be seen as Regina instead of the Evil Queen and-" Robin had heard enough. He cut her off with a passionate kiss, one like they'd never shared before. He held her close, running his hands along her back, her with her arms around his neck, hands in his hair tugging him closer.
Robin finally pulled back, looking deep into her eyes knowing exactly what she needed to hear. "I'm positive. When me and Marion first fell in love, I was head over heals. After she had 'passed', I'd have walked through hell and back to hold her once more. But I moved on. I raised my son on my own and we did just fine. But then one day we wound up here in Storybrooke and my entire life changed. I met you. The moment we met I knew I was going to fall for you, and fast. Then you hunted me down after is lost your heart, the thing I never wanted to give up, and you kissed me. I knew it had finally happened. We'd fallen. And I don't think I can see my life any other way."
As Robin finished he noticed tears in Regina's eyes, right before she leaned forward and kissed him once more.
