Part 15 : my world collapsed

The 6 weeks were almost up.
It was a day before Gabriella had to return to her father's house. She dreaded it. Andy could feel her sister's emotions & thoughts almost telepathically but gabby was fully recovered by now and was back on active duty she was so grateful for that. Work was the only stable thing in her life it kept her going even when she had thoughts of ending it all.
At the station
Everything was going by was mundane. Robert was back running drills with gabby. Some of the crew were cleaning the rigs and the station. Vic and Andy, we're cleaning the trucks. "So like does she know," Vic says whispering since gabby and Robert were only a couple of feet away.
"No she doesn't," andy says sighing. "WHAT!" vice exclaims loudly gripping the attention of gabby who was on a break from her drills. "What's up," she says innocently. Vic was the absolute worst at secrets the only reason she didn't blap it out earlier was that she didn't know it was a secret and that gabby was clueless about it. Vic was now nervously looking at andy who was giving her a death glare "OHHhhh, Hughes got a secret" says gabby remember how every surprise party was ruined by Vic's inability to keep a secret.
STATION 19, LADDER 19, ENGINE 19, Aid care 19.
Motel fire, downtown...
Gabby's face changes from playful to horror. The pair notice. "Hey do you know someone there or something," VIC says putting on her gear.
"No. I...i.." she begins to stutter and look around. "Probie gear up now " Robert yells from across the barn. Everyone gears up and gets in their respective vehicles.
Gabby pov's
I was praying that he wouldn't be there. God, please don't take him there. My hands were shaking all over the place. Andy kept nudging me asking me what's wrong. How do I explain? I thought to myself. We got there and I could see his men. We got to working and I made it a note to try and just focus on fire and not take my mask off maybe he wouldn't recognize me. I couldn't see it dad there but I did find his men roaming outside the engulfed motel.
Maya ordered me and Robert inside we were doing our primary search and here he was my dad. I tried my best to stay silent so he would recognize my voice but Robert kept asking me things and I just kept nodding but he was getting annoyed at my silence. While trying to get him out our air is running lower and lower.
I was almost suffocating in my mask as soon as we got out Robert takes his mask off and looks at me to do the same but a shook my head signalling no. My beeper was going off that my air was on 1% I was breathing in my carbon dioxide. My dad was taken by Maya to the medical triage as soon as he was taking I took my mask off gasping for air but I guess that was a dumb move since he was still staring at me. His eyebrows raisin now with surprise making a fist and "Cecilia" he says. I need to run was all my brain came up with he was going to kill me. So I ran away when everyone was too busy to notice.
Gabby pov ends
Maya orders Robert and gabby on triage but turns around to only find Robert who was searching desperately for gabby. "Where is probie" she yells. "I don't know she was just here" Robert complains. One of the civilians says "oh the girl I saw her running" while passing by held by Travis. "Too did see her run but I thought you told her to go get something," he says confused. Andy goes to Robert and whispers "Her dad is here" I just saw him " Robert responds with "that's the man me and here got out I couldn't see his face well enough inside because of the smoke and it was dark" says frustrated.
"DID SHE JUST RUN AWAY FROM A FIRE SCENE? I'm SOOO FIRING HER ASS" Maya yells in response to Travis. "You can't do that you don't understand, " andy says defending her sister viciously. "Captain please don't make any decisions now let's focus on this fire and then we'll talk about gabby's situation at the station" Robert pleads. "FINE" may answer back. Andy grabs her phone and calls Conrad urgently he was in a once-in-a-lifetime surgery assisting with Dr. Grey he was a talented intern and grey took notice of that. A nurse responds with "this is Dr. Conrad Hawkins's phone". Andy demand to speak to Conrad nervously tapping her feet. The nurse holds the phone up to his ear. "I really can't take right now my hands are inside a person" he responds sarcastically.
"Conrad it's gabby, we responded to a fire and her dad was here and she ran away," she says rambling.
"I will be there she probably went to ur house first if she is thinking of disappearing for good," he says knowing what his best friend thinks. Meredith scoffs at him. "If you leave my OR, you will never be allowed back in ever" Meredith confirms with him. "Ok. But my friend is in trouble and if making her my priority means I don't become a surgeon so be it" he says leaving Meredith OR
Gabby's pov
I RAN to andy's house to take my stuff since I was sure I was going to need it. My phone was blowing up with calls and texts from Andy, Robert and Conrad.
My mind was spinning with thoughts fears. I couldn't think probably. I was bewildered. I think I needed someone safe so when I saw Conrad was calling I answered. "Hey where are you I know about everything," he says "no you don't" I reply breaking down "your dad is involved in sex trafficking and he has been abusing you," he says words escaping his mouth were difficult for him to say. Gabby just sobs the truth she was trying so hard to had was finally out. " I can protect, just trust me where are you," Conrad says pleading with her.
"Umm... I'm... In..Robert's and andy's house" she says But suddenly she heard sirens and so did he. "I'm coming.. What's that noise," he asks... But only hears "miss gabby Lopez you're under arrest for arson and attempted murder," an officer says "WHAT" he hears gabby protesting his whole world was collapsing because she was it... His world. Andy excused herself from work to go find her sister just to see her getting arrested "what are doing leave my sister the hell alone" she yells the long-held secret escapes her tongue seamlessly. "Maam you can hear a lawyer but for know your sister is under arrest"
The officer responds
"Sister..what" gabby was disoriented. "My sister would never harm a fly. This is a mistake. " andy says defensive
"Maam we are not mistakes visit the station for more details" the officer says putting gabby in the back of his car.
