Gabby passing out from the fumes as the fire around her consumed the walls.
Everyone was still on shift At the station or grey's except for Andy and Conrad...
Robert couldn't leave to for the sike that the team would be understaffed since two guys on truck called off sick today and gabby wasn't allowed to return by maya.
Conrad and Andy were nearly giving up.
"Where the hell is she we've looked everywhere did she go to a black whole or something " andy yelled in frustration
"Why would you guys tell her is beyond me " Conrad said annoyed his annoyance was coming from the fact that his friendship / relationship with gabby was all flushed down the toilet and it wasn't even anyone's fault. Gabby was his girl , his best friend , his soulmate , THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE ...his face and heart flared up every time he saw. He had known her ever since she was saving up for paramedic school and him a  med student..
A few years back
gabby a 17yr old girl in some very oversized scrubs wheeling some old man he was obese she could barely push the wheelchair but she was trying her best
Conrad saw her and could help but offer to wheel the man himself since she was clearly struggling.
"I can take this off your hands" Conrad said putting his hands on the handles or the chair
Gabby offended
"NO!" "I'm good " she looks at him and offended and confused
"Okay missy" he takes his hands off the handles and steps back putting his hand up and shrugging
Gabby looks sassily back and then continues pushing the old fella through the halls
Conrad just sticking by the corners.
Conrad wasn't the type of guy to fixate over a girl or date a bunch of girls he wasn't a player most would she he wasn't in the game for a long time ever since you guessed
It he met gabby
After pushing the man back to his room gabby was out of breath hunched over hands on her knees trying to catch her breath
"Here you go" Conrad handed gabby a bottle of water
Gabby takes it reluctantly she wasn't used to acts of kindness so to say she was flattered by the gesture is an understatement .
She flashed Conrad a smile and
"thank you.. " she said looking for Conrad's hospital Badge for
His name
"Conrad Hawkins 3rd med student" he said extending his hands
"Gabby...wheeler or more professionally hospital transport personal" she said sarcastically but didn't extend her hands to shake his which makes him blush and brush his hand through his hair
"I'm sorry ..I'm Muslim ..I don't " she said
"Oh you're Muslim me too"
He said excitedly
"Ohhh really ?"
She got excited too
"Yeah revert last year actually "
At this moment they both knew that they were gonna be eachother's person and they were right until
The fire house got a call about a fire on a random roof
The teams rushes to the scene
They couldn't at first tell it was indeed gabby because of the heavy fumes and smoke
Robert and Montgomery were assigned rescue.
They started with determining the situation
"I believe  it was arson " Robert said judging by the matches next to the victim's body
"Maybe it wasn't intentional since if it was no one in their right mind would pick matches" Travis said sarcastically
"I don't think the victim would make it this smoke has been going for a while"
Robert said
They quickly controlled the flames and make there way to the victim who was laying face down as the smoke cleared up and the vision
"NO!" Robert yelled
"What?" Travis questioned
"No...no..no..no it can't be" Robert ran to the victim
Turning her to face on of his worst fears and there she was a woman he considered his sister , his family
"Gabby?" Travis said dazzled
"Breathe breathe breathe " he said checking for a pulse , a twitch , a heartbeat anything to assure him that he would hear her laugh, smile ,tease , cry or even yell one more time  but there was nothing that was guaranteed
"Let's start CPR Sullivan it's not too late " she said pulling gabby from Robert arms
"Rescue update on your status" maya said through the radios
But no answer was returned
Travis started CPR
WHILE Robert not really a believer in god or the universe prayed
" 1 2 3 1 2 3... come on gabby" Travis said while pounding her chest
"No no no..not her" Robert just said to himself
"Please god ...please if you're there..get her back please " he said sobbing it was so out of character for him to pray or sob he wasn't asked god for a single thing since Claire which just goes to show how much gabby meant to him
Maya got frustrated hearing nothing back so she sent vic and Gibson to check on the rescue team
Vic just gasped when she saw the victim in a s 19 shirt and an ambo bag over her mouth
" oh god..no" she ran to assist travis
While Gibson updated maya how didn't really know how to process it
"How long have you been" Gibson asked
"No dont even think about it" Vic yelled
"I'm calling it" Gibson said
