As Envy and Ash trudged to the kitchen area, Envy turns her head and asks, "Hey- So about Princess Taylanie-" before Envy can finish her sentence, Ash interrupts with a sigh. "Didn't the guy with the skinned neck scare you enough?" He says, looking at Envy's flushed face as it slowly goes pale. Feeling lightheaded, Envy holds her forehead. "No- stop-" She says exhaustedly. Ash snickers and continues walking as the FourthKnight trudges behind.
"As i was saying- How old is she?" She queries, speeding up her pace to walk next to the older. Ash scratches his head, chains of his armor clinking together as he truffles his brown locks."Uhh, well i'm 17. And she's about 2 years younger than me. So if your including months, she should be about 14 turning 15 soon." Ash concludes, hanging both hands behind his neck before looking at Envy as she flushes.
Shes around the same age as me!
Ash grimaces, "Ugh- Your so creepy." He says jokingly, looking to the side as Envy gets defensive. "I am nOT-" The head Knight interrupts with "And we're here." He says, stretching out the first syllable as he opens the door to the kitchen.
When they walk in, the room smelled of sugar and strawberries, a very welcome smell. The walls were a painted beige brick, some of the paint rusted and dried. the middle of the kitchen was a countertop with a bag of flour spilling over it and a basket of eggs. The back of the kitchen was dim, and separated by an arched wall, making it look private, or more specifically only for chefs of the castle.
"Dame Ash!"A high pitched, squeaky voice yells out. Before Envy could even get a good look at the woman, she speeds past her—almost knocking her over as she jumps onto Ash's arm. Ash let's out a little "oof-" at the impact, but balances as the woman clings onto him. Envy stumbles to look at her, seeing as she's turned completely sideways to hold onto the Head Knight.
Her light medium almond skin was scattered with dark freckles, fairing from her cheeks to legs. She wore a pure white skin-tight dress that ends at the bottom of her knees with black buttons lining down the middle, top two buttons loose, showing off her spotted collarbones. Her honey blond hair was tied loosely into a singular large braid, the loose baby hairs falling out and over her Peridot eyes.
Envy sees the flash of an uncomfortable expression on her friends face, but it dissipates quickly as the shorter woman looks up at him, nuzzling his arm to her chest as she squeals, "I just knew you would come to visit me sooner or later!" She giggles as she twirls a finger around his chestplate. Ash stumbles backward a bit as he vocalizes a "Um- Haha, we're actually here to run a few errands." Ash drags a lone finger along her jawline, "Could you maybe.." His voice drops an octave, and Envy suddenly feels uncomfortable watching this PDA. "Get me a list of supplies your short of..?" He holds her chin with his index and thumb, looking into her eyes with affection that even Envy could tell was fake. Even so, the chef squeaked in delight, running off to go get that list.
Envy awkwardly steps next to him as he dusts off his armor. "Soooo...Who was that?" Envy says, looking up at the older. "That was Gisselle. She's the head chef of the castle, Ms. Tanna really likes her." Ash adds on, adjusting his gloves. Envy goes on her tip toes and leans back on her heels as she absently asks, "Isss she your Girlfriend??" Ash makes a choking sound as he shakes his head. "No- Absolutely not. That woman has been everywhere and anywhere with anybody." Ash cringes, making a gagging sound as he turns around and exits the kitchen. As Envy follows, he bumps into a shorter staffed person.
"Oh shit- i didn't see you there, are you okay?" Envy says, giving a hand to the foreign Knight that he knocked over. "Ugh- i'm fine." He groans as he pushes himself off the ground. Envy examines the short statured man as he dusts himself off.
His eyes were the most interesting. The rim of his iris' were black, the rest fading to a light brown as it reached the beginning of his pupil, golden flecks decorating his iris' randomly. When Envy glanced at the Knight's bouncy black mop of hair, she wondered how he'd gotten it to be so full and fluffy looking, despite the humid climate the kingdom was often in. He also wore a big black earring at the lobe of his ear and two matching black rings at the cartilage. His face was rounded nicely, with cherub cheeks and a sharp jawline. His eyelashes were long and his lips were plump, and a small beauty mark lie under his right eye. Envy could really only describe him as a really pretty boy.
